Underfloor, side panels, wheel arches & sills renewed and welded, including removal of corrosion from sliding doors in 2022 (see photos).
Caravelle, has twin slide doors, means easy access to water tank on off-side, and windows all round. (lightly darkened)
Tow bar & immobiliser fitted. MOT until July 2025 (advisories all fixed).
Reliable original engine, only needed the odd minor maintenance repairs when servicing.
Included with the van is a removable fridge, Thetford chemical toilet, and full stand-alone tent/awning.
The leisure battery is no longer performing at optimum, but I found it ample for lighting, operating the tap and charging my devices.
There’s a slight scratch on the left-hand side door which I’m unhappy about – it’s not through to the metal, and I re-painted it, but it shows a little. Some slight corrosion at lower windscreen edge.
Central locking, electric windows.
Good on long distances, but I also used my van for small trips. No restrictions for city centre emission zones despite its age because of petrol engine. Nimble & nifty enough to fit into any city parking space, and to slip underneath beach & city centre car park barriers that other vans don’t fit under.

Pop-up roof with cute side windows – removable textile covered hardwood panels.
Good insulation all round, very little condensation.
Features include warm LED lighting, functioning sink with cold water tap (run off separate 12V leisure battery & removable water canister under sink), 2 hob gas cooker (run off Calor gas bottle), Mains hook-up charger plug-in with cable to operate fridge. 2x Power points under sink for optional kettle or heater when on hook-up.
Cutlery drawer, under-sink storage cupboard (has gas bottle & water canister inside), extra crockery storage above kitchen area, plus large storage cupboard with side & rear doors. (portable leisure battery and fuse box also in here)
Back seats are rock-n-roll type, forming a comfortable double bed with ample storage underneath. “Sofa setting” for lounging.
Fiamma table secures by single post to the “laminate wood” floor and twists in all directions. Both front seats are captain seats, have swivel levers to easily turn around to face living accommodation when parked up.
2 adult sleeping places on rock-‘n-roll bed, plus space for either 2 children or 1 adult above.
