Iveco Turbo Daily XLWB 2.3 HDI, 30+mpg, excellent engine and fully serviced on the previous MOT and only covered 200 miles since then with a new battery installed a few months ago. The bodywork is in good condition for the year and was originally a works van but shows no signs of abuse or neglect, there is a minor dint on the back side just above the driver side rear light but is not particularly obvious and is a good looking van. I did not receive any service history with the van but when I purchased it but have the original Iveco manuals, I requested that the mechanic I use completed a full inspection and rectify any faults, this included calipers on the rear, new brakes, fixed the electric windows and the side door along with some other small items.
Last week I had the van MOT’d and it flew through the test, It has Falken tyres all round with good tread.
The van starts perfectly every time, pulls well and the Mechanic commented on how ‘solid’ the van was underneath during the MOT.
The interior is very clean and has a Pioneer head unit and 2 x 6×9 speakers but the only fault inside is the glove box doesn’t open.
There are 2 large solar panels on the roof that are connected to 2 heavy duty leisure batteries and these can be used when off-grid along with the inverter to use 230v power, all can be seen to be in good working order.
For sale our beautiful and unique campervan conversion, originally purchased already converted but with only a single bed and not to our taste, therefore we gutted the van completely with the exception of the panelling and started with a blank canvas.
We started with the installation of a double bed and seating area with storage underneath sufficient for just about anything, accessible from the back doors and doors under the seat for access when in the van, following this we renovated a solid wood sideboard in funky colours and to include a miniature Belfast sink with ‘Victorian’ style taps (the waste is connected to a container in one of the cupboards along with fresh water containers but the taps are not yet connected – a submersible pump is there to connect).
The final ‘feature’ was to install a mini Cyclops log burner but with the purchase of a bespoke grate, now able to burn both wood & coal (multifuel). Firstly, the enclosure was constructed with 18mm plywood on the outside and 12mm fireboard on the insides with ‘period’ style ceramic tiles on the base and the back and finished with heat resistant paint, following this, the stove was fixed into the base and a twin wall stainless flue system installed and fully sealed with fire cement around the stove and all weather sealant on the exterior, this installation is covered by a sign-off certificate by an independent installer and a carbon monoxide alarm fitted.
The inside was fitted with the sound deadening insulation and 25mm Kingspan thermal insulation.
Installed is a roof extractor / ventilator and LED lighting with separate remote controls.
All fixtures and fittings were bought brand new and have not been used, the only reason we are selling it is due to me working away a lot and not having the chance to use it as my wife cannot drive it, therefore we purchased a static van where she can drive to.
Also included is a brand new portaloo, a small fridge, a Calor gas heater (if needed) and a 2 ring gas hob with spare gas cartidges.
There is a full size double bed and the seating area can be used for a small childs bed.
