Peugeot Boxer 2.2 Hdi
2013 Peugeot Boxer. Twin sliding doors. 6 Speed manual. Excellent condition. Low mileage (61,412 miles). Just had new clutch fitted and fresh MOT (no advisories).
When I bought this van in 2021, it had a partial service history but it has a full service history from 2021 to current date. I’ve only been doing roughly 4k miles a year but I have had it serviced every year to keep it running sweet. Fuel filter and air filter last year.
It has Rogue alloy wheels with General Grabber tyres which I bought just over a year ago at a cost of £1200. The tyres are like new.
I’ve installed LED daytime running lights because for some reason this model of van doesn’t have side lights which always annoyed me.
Bragan front spoiler bar fitted and original grill swapped for a Ducato grill because I didn’t like the look of the Peugeot one. There is a small dent on the bonnet (you can probably just make it out in the pictures) which is the only mark on the bodywork (an easy repair apparently but I never got round to it).
I’ve installed a reversing camera. It has Sony head unit with DAB and Bluetooth and an interface so all the steering wheel stereo controls work correctly.
I bought a new vehicle battery about a year ago because the old one was getting tired. I had to get a new airbag control module a couple of years ago because the original one developed a fault (very common on these vans apparently)
This van is my pride and joy. My adventure vehicle that has never let me down. I take my daughter away every year to a campsite and she loves staying in the van (because she gets the comfy bed and I have to sleep in the awning tent). We take our bikes, my kayak, make pancakes in the van and go exploring. It has a lot of memories for me and I never intended to sell it, but our family grew again last year so I now need a van with 4 belted seats.
AGM Leisure battery (110 amp hour) and 12v electrics. It has a 240v electric hookup with distribution board and sockets in garage and living area. USB sockets, LED lighting in living area and garage. Alpcool fridge. Diesel heater with outflow in garage (to dry bike/clothes) and living area. Sink with fresh water and waste water containers. Campingaz bottle with double gas stove. Double swivel seat. Large storage under seat which fits camping chairs, window covers and loads more. Kitchen units with lots of storage. Table can be set up inside or outside on right hand side of the van so you can use the hob to cook outside. There is a solar charging unit fitted and a solar panel which can be placed anywhere when parked up. I didn’t want it permanently attached to the roof so I put little rubber feet on the panel so I can plug it in and put it on the roof if parked up and the sun is out.
