OFF-GRID!
All power is switched but everything can be controlled via your phone.
In the summer you’ll be unlikely to run out of power. I’ve stayed on site with no external hookup for a week not moving and lived off of the sun and battery, rarely dipped below 80% charge.
The alternator charger can replenish the battery from flat to full with 1hr of driving.
Reverse charge capable: you’ll never have a flat battery.
The winter needs a bit of moving around to charge the battery back up but has never run out on me – even overcast the size of the solar draws charge.
I’ve used the van to work remotely.

Loads of storage.
Overhead cupboard above the cab, cabinets above the seating, space under the sofa/bed, shoes storage and giant storage compartment unit opposite the sofa/bed.
Fold up desk/dining table.
The fridge and freezer has kept me well stocked for over a week of microwaved meals, milk and essentials.

The bed quickly converts to sleep two people, but for a single person don’t bother, you’ve got tons of room as the sofa is huge.

Sound deadening, re-cycled plastic insulation over 60mm in the wall including 10mm of closed-cell foam. Stay warm in winter, cool in the summer.
All the wood is oil-treated birch ply.
Thick lino flooring insulated and sound-deadened, limo-tinted windows with blackout curtains. Opening window on the sliding door.
Anthracite carpeting trim.
Escape hatch with sliding door to move between the living area and cab (emergency use only so you don’t have to leave the van in the unlikely event you need to leave), but also acts as another window.

This van is my absolute pride and joy and given me so many happy memories and trouble-free motoring.
The space is luxurious for a camper van; it’s high enough inside for even the tallest of person, and the external dimensions make it easy to manoeuvre on the single-lane widing roads of Cornwall. But you’re also big and imposing enough to win every country lane stand-off! Whoever sees this van will want it; it’s clean, reliable, fresh-smelling of the wooden interior, and your dog will love it. The interior has been smoke-free.
