VW Transporter
Vehicle History – 2013 PX13 YSK – Obe previous owner so you will be the third. Originally a painters van so light use. I have used it mainly for commuting between Manchester and Stoke (twice a week) and trips in between (England Scotland and Wales).
Mechanical/Electrical – Full MOT history available. Failed in 2023 due to wear and tear issues (tyres, brake pads, bulbs etc) but all replaced and resolved. New alternator and new battery 2024 due to failed alternator – Leisure battery in rear is due to be changed as it died during the alternator issues so needs replacing. I will do that pre sale and ensure all is in order.
Body Work – Some tired paintwork. No major rusting but spots have appeared here and there. I try and keep on top by sanding it off and re-finishing with primer/paint – Front bumper has a couple of cracks in it and has been screwed on by previous owner so screw heads slightly showing but nothing major. Price reflects this.
Fitout – Bought as base van and converted while in my possession.
Professional Works – Sound Deadening, Insulation, Ply with full carpet walls and ceiling, Spot lights, Reading lamp, External hookup for on site electrics, Sockets (useable when plugged in)Windows both sides and rear (barn doors)Passenger bench seating can be spun round to make rear seating, Solar panel on roof feeding into battery, Dial in van showing status of leisure and van batteries so you can monitor. DAB radio/Bluetooth in cab.
Done Myself – Flat pack U shape seats which fold into comfortable bed and workspace bought from ‘VanFurniture.co.uk’ and assembled myself. All draws, compartments working. Lots of storage space. Leisure battery stored in rear under seat. Easily accessible. No fitted sink/hob. We take a gas stove so that we can cook outside when its nice weather. Roof rails to take roof box. Drivers/Passenger seating with leather covers. Space and electrical capacity for a fridge to be installed, we just never have done. Also the furniture is designed to accept a sink and hob so can be fitted if required. I think a fridge and sink an hob combined would be about £1k when I was looking. It’s a really nice van and has the usual dull paintwork etc that an 11 year old van would have.
I got a full service last year alongside the MOT and all running really well. I have never had any issues with it apart from those detailed above. OPEN TO OFFERS.

The bed system is the U-shaped system from VanFurniture.co.uk and is very comfortable and easy to convert back to seating. Nothing tricky or heavy. System shown below.
