Currently the Van is not in the UK, but is going to be sent back (See below for details)

Putting the Ad up now to see if theres any interest for a good running van at a cheap price.

– Low milage for the age.
– Basically no rust underneath, see pictures, it may of been galvanised
– Milage: need to be confirmed but its low for the age. (will confirm soon)
– A swivel front drivers and passenger captain seat.
– Rock and roll bed with two seatbelts for passengers. Sleep two adults.

Issues:
– Clean MOT history (check the Reg: S764 PAG), amazing for its age. However it has ran out in Jan as we are out of the UK.
– The canvas on the Pop-top roof need fixing or replacing along with the seal around it, it can let in rain.
– There is some damage to the outer panel of one of the rear arches, but the arches are rust free.
– The leisure battery likely will need replacing.

The Van is currently in Switzerland where I’m living now, its stored in a garage.
The process here to import the Van is complicated and costly and we’re reaching the 12 month date where it needs to be imported or face fines.
We can’t sell it, give it away, scrap it or anything unless it’s imported.

When you import personal possessions here, you can’t sell it within the first year or you have to pay import duty.
Which means we would have another year or storage costs and possibly insurance to pay on top the importing process.

As we’re not using it, we think its easier to get it shipped back to the UK (back to Newcastle most likely)

We thought about driving it back, but without a valid MOT, temp insurance costs, ferry, fuel, lodgings and time, its easier to get it shipped.

We are arranging for a Vehicle transport to pick it up and deliver it back to the UK, ideally to someone who would
like to buy it.
