Volkswagen Transporter VW T5 Campervan

2.5 diesel with 6 gears.

Engine in good condition and van runs / drives great.

Some marks and small areas of rust on the body as expected with a 25 year old van.

Full service last undertaken July 2023.

Self-converted VW T5 campervan for sale. I’ve had the van for 10 years. I have looked after it very well and paid for garages to repair parts as and when needed, but it is now time to sell it for the only reason that i need the money (I’ll be sad to see it go). The van has a rotating passenger seat, good size bed that folds and has under drawer storage. There is a cooker, fridge (with freezer) and plenty of other cupboards. There is a 12V or 240V TV, leisure battery, touch control lighting, USB charger and 240V plugs for when connecting to electric hook up. The leisure battery charges as you use the van. Underneath the bed is storage for chairs, other camping equipment and wind breaks. To the side of the van is a Fiamma awning that works fantastic and extends the camping space when it is raining.

But there are a couple of faults that I’d like to make any new purchaser clear of. The central locking is temperamental and sometimes the passenger door doesn’t lock so you need to do this manually (common faulty in VW T5 vans apparently). The wing mirror is damaged and there are some very small areas of rust in a couple locations.
