VW Caddy Maxi 2011 1.6
It’s time to part ways with Beauty Blue Bus that was my first ever campervan and has led me on many adventures around Wales! Since owning her, I have only put 3000 miles on the clock and have never had any problems with her.
The previous owners self-converted the van beautifully and it has everything that I ever needed for trips away solo and with my partner (and dog). The tentbox lite on top is a great addition to the van and fits myself, a 25kg dog and my 6’4 boyfriend just fine!
It passed its MOT on 12/03/2024 and had a new spring on each side and two brand new front tyres. Since owning the van, it has had a new injector and new clutch in May 2023. I have all service history since ownership and part-service history from the previous owners.
My only reason for sale is that I’m after something bigger, I’ve found her a beauty to drive and very reliable.

Things to note:
The radio doesn’t work very well but I do live in a rural area and the closer I get to civilization the more signal I get – I just use a Bluetooth connector that plugs into the 12V and connect my phone and it works great (will include this)
The overall bodywork of the van is great considering its age however there are a couple of noticeable paint bits around the van and as it’s an ex British Gas, you can vaguely see where they had the gas sign on the back.
The passenger wing mirror is taped with masking tape and was when I bought it and I have never done anything about it as its never bothered me
When solo-travelling I use the pull-out bed in the van which I can sleep comfortably on and I am 5ft 8.
The tenbox lite is more ideal if there is more than one travelling and the dimensions for the bed is 140 x 120cm. It takes less than 5 minutes to set the tent up and the mattress is so comfortable. This has suited me, the dog and my boyfriend great.
