Detailed Information
Vehicle Description

I bought the van as an ex RAC van as an empty shell. I completely sound-deadened and insulated it. All of the interior is still pretty new. I only completed the interior early last year and have used the van for camping a few times since then.
I also replaced the speakers and the head unit, plus sound-deadening the doors.
I kept the electrics nice and simple with a small fuse board powered by a portable power station from Renergy. There are two 100w flexible solar panels fixed to the roof. There is an extra battery under the front passenger seat, which is charged off the engine, which is great for extra power and also can help in cold conditions when starting the engine. The inverter is connected to this battery and charges the power station when the engine is running. I preferred this setup because it’s easier to change out, also because it’s portable, you can take the power bank out of the van.
It is fitted with an underslung freshwater tank, which supplies the sink and also powers a portable boiler used for showering. Along with the shower, I also fitted a shower curtain to the tailgate.

It drives lovely, nice and smoothly, and really punchy with the 7-speed DSG auto gearbox.

MOT’d has 6 months left.
Taxed for 6 months
It has recently been serviced and had a full safety check.
I have also had some small dents in the tailgate repaired by a body shop, so it looks its best.

The Cam belt was done by the garage that sold me the van as part of the cost of the vehicle.

The main engine pulley was also changed as the bearings went in it about 6 months after I bought it.

I am very sad to be parting with it, as I put a lot into it and do love it. But the reason why is that I am going on a 2-year backpacking trip around the world, and obviously can’t take it with me. I know whoever sees this amazing camper van will love it as much as I have.
