The van is in excellent mechanical order.
The conversion was completed in 2021. It includes:
Log burner for cosy nights, large enough to easily heat space, fits standard eco-logs / kindling.
Diesel heater.
Beautiful wood cabinets, cupboards, and surfaces.
Pull-out dining table from under bed, length of the two-seat bench.
Leisure battery, solar panels (roof), split charge relay and inverter.
240 v system for two UK plug sockets and two USB ports.
12 v system for water pump, downlights, shower, and 12 v charge point for a fridge / cool box.
Gas-powered hot internal shower.
Integrated gas hob two rings.
Fixed bed with double-size mattress (less than 12 months old).
Windows to all sides with two full sliders in kitchen area.
Two roof vents, a smaller one over the kitchen, and a larger one over the bed, both with blinds and slide over mosquito nets.
Large garage, including long space to side under bed to fit surf boards / paddles. Possibly could fit bike or two minus back wheel (depending what else is stored).
100-litre water tank in garage with pump connected to kitchen tap and shower.
Integrated large dog crate (fits largest size dog beds can buy) with safety bars to keep dogs safely crated while on long drives (under the fixed double bed there is a large garage to the back and to the front a large dog bed that comfortably fits medium-large dogs e.g. one or two Vizslas).
Large internal garage area (if not use as dog bed).
Slide out drawer under large two-seat bench (internal).
Large rhino roof bars.
Fiammo awning.
Thatcham Category 1 approved alarm and tracker. The Sentinel 7 alarm and tracker links to your Smart phone. This substantially reduces insurance cost (and is necessary for many campervan insurance companies to offer cover for a campervan). For dog lovers: the alarm has a pet setting which sets only the door alarms and disables the internal motion sensors for when you pop into the shop leaving your dogs in the van.
I am deeply fond of and sad to say goodbye to this wonderful home-from-home on wheels. I have had few issues with the van mechanically or otherwise. The glow plug that developed an issue last year was a faff to sort out (a well-known issue with VW Crafters), hence I got a specialist mechanic to replace all four at the same time in order to avoid the future need to get the glow plugs done: You’re welcome.
