2007 vw crafter with the ultra reliable 2.5tdi engine, just had a full new timing belt kit with waterpump and a full service. Will come with a new MOT. The van has been resprayed in tough raptor paint in a grey colour, comes on Maxxis all terrain tyres and really looks the part. The van has a Tow bar fitted.
The conversation was built too have everything you need too live fully off grid and has proved itself. I designed the interior too have as much free space as possible but still retain everything you need and plenty of storage. Its very easy for multiple people too move around freely and be comfortable. There is a sofa which can sit 3 people and the option too rotate the front double seat for a further 2 seats (iv cooked a roast for 5 and all sat inside with room too eat) the seat swivel is quality crash tested.
All units were built using 15mm birch plywood for its lightweight property’s and have grey shaker style doors with push too open catches.
The van is fully insulated with recycled bottle insulation in the walls and 25mm celoltex in the ceiling. I have lived in the van though multiple winters and been more than comfortable.
The van is fitted with a 5kw diesel heater.
There is hot a cold running water fed through a instant water heater so no having too wait for a water tank too heat up, and fed from a large water tank under the van.
There is a thetford oven and hob running of gas.
There is a large thetford 3 way fridge.
The toilet is a cassette type toilet with a shower over the top.
The van has 2 lesure battery’s being charged by 350w of victron solar panels and Bluetooth charge controller and a split charge relay.
Multiple USB sockets, 12v sockets and 240v sockets powered by a large 3000w sunshine solar inverter.
Pioneer head unit in the front of the van powering 2 6×9 vibe speakers. The stereo screen works as the reverse camera.
I have lived in this van all over Cornwall for 3 years, have been too many festivals, woke up too views many can only dream of! Me and my sun have enjoyed every moment and will be very sad for the van too go.
The van has a fixed adult double bed the the rear of the van, a child’s rock and roll bed converts from the sofa in a matter of seconds and is single bed width. There is space under the fixed bed for a further bed if needed.
