CONVERSION DESCRIPTION

´The Tank´ is a very high specification campervan conversion inspired by nature, she was built to the highest standard with only the finest of products and materials
She’s a head turner, but also blends in perfectly with nature, giving her a low profile when out in the back country.
Crafted with great care, her layout based on extensive experience of living in vans full-time. Drawing from a wealth of knowledge, she has been designed as a camper that is not only suitable for holidays, but also for full-time Vanlife. The main focus of the build was to create a campervan layout that allows you to relax in a space with all the creature comforts, wherever you are and whatever the weather. Therefore, it was prioritised to have a spacious lounge area, shower, large double bed and a practical kitchen with plenty of storage space.
The van has a generously sized bed (with flare pods to add that important extra space.) With its modified design the seating base is angled for optimal relaxation. She has premium seating in a beautiful grey leather and tartan detail.
The design boasts ample kitchen storage, including a twin hob, combi microwave and oven, ample sink, and a discreet drawer to optimize space, all complemented by our high end worktops.
The lighting is all handmade and features teak look materials. They include down lights that produce a warm and inviting glow with optional and adjustable coloured mood lighting
The design has carefully considered the need for both space and storage. There is plenty of room for lounging, while also ensuring that the storage capacity is optimised. The aim is to maintain a comfortable and spacious environment.

KITCHEN

Galley kitchen with beautiful worktops and splashback. There are various drawers and cabinets, which are for food storage, custom made pull-out larder, a large stainless steel sink unit with chrome mixer tap.

SEATING AREA WITH PET CUBBY

The sofa is a triple purpose sofa, belted double seat and bed, which is very comfortable and includes a remote-control electric mechanism to make life easy. The upholstery matches the cab seats in fine leather and tartan. It features premium seating foam with high-quality commercial grade upholstery.

Tabletop is removable with stainless steel fittings supported by a slot in swivel table leg that securely locks into place.

BATHROOM

Fully lined simple cubicle to maximise space and easy cleaning. Top of the range steel shower and mixer with on demand hot water, separate fold down bathroom sink and a cassette toilet.

Upper storage cabinets with soft close doors, soft close hinges and heavy-duty magnets. A great space for clothing. We recommend packing cubes in here to keep clothes organised.

HEATING AND HOT WATER

The diesel central heating system can be controlled via the digital control. Choose between heating and ventilation modes. Water eating can be produced via the engine or an electric immersion system.

INSULATION & VENTILATION

Proper insulation is vital to maintain a comfortable temperature inside the camper throughout the year, preventing heat loss during winter and heat gain during summer. It also plays a significant role in reducing condensation within the living area. Varying specialist insulation has been used such as foam board, spray foam in the tricky to reach spots, recycled loft insulation, thermoliner and aluminium tape to create a vapour barrier.

VICTRON ENERGY CAMPERVAN ELECTRICS

The van includes a full Victron Lithium Solar energy system (£5,000 install), which includes the Victron monitoring system and you can check battery levels, fresh and waste water, tank heating probes, DC/AC and Solar input, and your power consumption all through one easy to use digital monitor. The system can also be accessed remotely for support and system upgrades.
The electrics are designed so that the van can be used fully off-grid. Powered by a DC charger, solar charging and shore power hook-up. She has a 300w solar panel, they are light and discrete. 2 x large Victron Lithium leisure batteries ensures you have plenty of energy storage.

EXTERNAL UPGRADES

There are a lot of exterior upgrades worth over £15,000 which have transformed the exterior. When combined with her larger alloys and tires, the overall look of the vehicle gives the impression that it has been lifted. The automatic airlift system for the suspension significantly enhances the vehicles ride quality by effectively levelling the vehicle if heavily weighted at the rear. Experience a smooth and enjoyable driving experience without any discomfort or instability during cornering. She’s a dream to drive.
She has Lazer Lamps in her front bumper wired to her main beams and LED side lights.
CAMPERVAN SECURITY

To compliment the robust VW security, the vehicle has the added peace of mind of Scorpion tracking and Vanguard Alarms (need to be attached if desired)
