Bert is a 1979 VW T2 Late Bay Camper Van. Fully restored, restoration completed February 2021 at a cost in excess of £30,000. Receipts available. Bert has also been upgraded with Propex 2000 Heaer and Electric Hook Up with Leisure Battery charege.
The objective of the restoration was to restore the vehicle to its original condition and to provide another forty years of safe, trouble free motoring, plus an interior with a ‘WOW‘ factor. This has been achieved by dipping the body shell to remove the paint, any filler and most importantly rust, replacing lots of body panels and the fitting of many new mechanical parts.
