VW T4 Family Friendly DEVON

We are very sad to be selling this lovely T4 but we have only ever used it as a large car over the past two years and not as a campervan. The conversion is a tidy job inside with the belted back seats folding out to a double bed. It has a small kitchen area with a fold-out table, two gas rings and grill connected to a gas bottle, a small sink and fridge. It also has electric and water hook-ups (which we haven’t used), a water outlet, two 12A plug sockets, three lights, pop-top and cross-boards which could carry two lightweight sleepers. 2461 cc engine. 5 Gears (the previous owner converted from automatic). MOT Passed 01 August 2023. We paid £11,000 for this in July 2021. Since purchase we have had extensive work done on the gearbox which now flows smoothly, repaired a brake fluid leak, replaced lots of bulbs, repaired the locking systems and replaced the glow plugs, the work done totals about £2000. It is a well-loved vehicle and been on lots of family adventures, as such there are some scuffs on the body work and additional quirks such as the aerial is snapped, the doors unlock manually (no central-locking) and there is an electrical fault that is causing a warning light to come on repeatedly, this has been checked by our mechanic repeatedly who can not find the fault, someone mechanically minded might be able to locate this and sort it.
