Volkswagen Transporter T28 TDI
Purchased in 2020, having been professionally converted by Woodstock Campers, this VW T6 Transporter is fully equipped with Pop Top, fridge, grill, double ring gas hob, sink, leisure battery, inverter, LED lights, and mains hook up. It is fitted with a ‘Smart Bed Evolution R’ rock and roll bed mounted on rails, allowing a fully flexible seating position for the rear passengers. We have changed the original double front passenger seat to a captain’s seat. This is mounted on a swivel mechanism, with secure lock box underneath. Also included an Outwell ‘Milestone’ driveaway awning, Milenco Triple 3 levelers, and the Calor 904 gas canister required for the hob.
Most of the time we have owned the van it has also been used for the daily commute. It has been regularly serviced, including new heater matrix, rear shock absorbers and new intercooler fitted. Complete with 2 keys, 20” black ‘Calibre’ wheels with relatively new Kumho Solus 4s HA32 All season tyres. Currently MOT’d until 18 August 2025.
It has been much enjoyed for trips to Wales, the Lake District and longer adventures to Scotland and last year’s Le Mans 24hrs.
