VW T6 Camper - Swamper style, Automatic, pop top, full width bed

2019 reg T6. Long list of upgrades courtesy of The Van Cave in Somerset. Upgraded suspension to Koni shocks with H&R anti-roll bars to minimise body roll and it drives like an estate car!

Swamper styled, two captains swivel front seats, full width smartbed evolution double bed – moved away from carrying all the kitchen stuff that I never used and settled on a much more comfortable bed. Skyline pop top roof, with rails and rear ladder access. Full size spare wheel mounted on the rear tailgate, upgraded struts to lift the weight with ease!

THQ upgraded LED headlights and Laser LED driving lamps linked to main beam.

The rear cabin has been triple lined with sound deadening and thermal insulation and there is an Eberspacher diesel heater to ensure you are warm and cosy throughout the cold winter nights, a truly all-season camper! Full electric hook up and leisure battery system with split charging from the engine.

Upgraded Kenwood head unit with massive 10″ screen, sound deadening in the front doors and upgraded speakers. Also linked up to rear cabin speakers for a full on sound experience. And the comfort dash makes this feel more car like and less van.

Also benefits from cool cabin ambient LED lights along with a full underglow lighting system, perfect for campsites so you can find your van on the way back in the dark 🙂

Inside is a clip on table and rail so you can sit on the bench seat and eat / work and stores neatly against the window. All cabin windows are fitted with the excellent van shades window blinds.

Probably more things I’ve missed off, you really need to see it to appreciate it!
