VW Transporter T5
– 2.5 TDI PD T28 Panel Van 4dr Diesel Manual L1 H1 (128 bhp)
– Max. Payload 928kg
– Mechanically sound and recently had a new front driveshaft (both sides), rear brake callipers and all brake pads replaced, and a new battery.
– High spec for the age, with electric windows, cruise control, A/C and heated seats!
– The rear has been sound-deadened with some insulation. I’ve used the van mainly as a weekend van for outdoor pastimes, the previous owner used the van as a work vehicle. The twin – sliding doors and tailgate give great accessibility to the load area.
– The lower half of the bulkhead is in-situ, the upper half can be provided if required.
– This van has areas of rust, and cosmetic wear and tear but is mechanically sound and a great runner with some character points given her age.

This Transporter has been thoughtfully converted with a highly functional and flexible layout, ideal for both short getaways and longer trips, while retaining its everyday practicality as a van. A birch-faced ply cabinet behind the cab offers smart, durable storage, and the bed platform flips in half to create room for bikes, surfboards, and other gear ā perfect for active use. The interior is fully sound-deadened and insulated for comfort in all seasons. There is room to add your own personal touch such as pull out drawers and hard-wired lights (currently the spotlights are battery powered).
Power has been left deliberately flexible ā I recommend using a quality portable power bank to cover all your electrical needs without the complexity of a fixed system.
Please feel free to get in touch for more details ā Iām happy to answer questions or provide additional photos on request.
Can be a single or double bed that fills the back of the van. The bed is not permanent and offers flexibility.
