Volkswagen Transporter T32 Highline 140 TDI LWB
It’s time to part with our beloved campervan that we had custom converted by ‘Retrofitted’ in 2020, due to the fact that we have moved abroad and cannot take her with us. We went all in with a LWB T32 highline (2.0 TDI 2015) which comes with heated seats, cruise control, rear parking sensors and bluetooth audio. The van has been well cared for and kept up to date with servicing (most recent one August 2024 at 79,913 miles).
Currently at 80,093 miles and MOT was on 27th August 2024, with 4 new tyres and little mileage since.
Great condition exterior, well looked after and cared for inside and out, like new.
6 speed manual, diesel, 140 TDI certainly moves when foot down, service history all up to date.
The van’s been incredible on our journeys exploring Europe and the south west of the UK. The campervan has a stealth look with a HiLo Roof not visible when down, that when fully extended allows you to easily stand up inside the van. (I’m 6ft1 with no issue). The roof has an orange scenic canvas which gives a lovely warming glow, that can be unzipped allowing you to stargaze from the top, with space for two adults to sleep comfortably.
Also on top of the roof (unique to HiLo) are load rated 60kg roof bars allowing for further options with roof boxes or surf/snow bags. We travelled with a Thule roofbox and surfboard bag across the EU with ease.
The van can be used off grid, equipped with 160W solar panel powering a lithium leisure battery, enough to charge electrical items, and keep the fridge/freezer going for a long period of time. There is a large 49L water tank underneath the van allowing you to be self sufficient.
The campervan conversion was immaculately crafted by Retro Fitted with beautiful finishes. Offering a unique U shaped lounge area providing space for more than 4 adults to sit comfortably, then when ready for night the draws pull out to make a large bed that fits 2 people comfortably.
The kitchen has everything you need like a home from home, fridge and freezer, Gas oven, 2 gas hobs, sink and plenty of space within the cupboards and draws. There is a large rear storage compartment that fits a snowboard and plenty of camping items like chairs, mini bbq etc. No space inside the van is lost, as the water and gas tanks are situated underneath the van.
The camper comes with a Propex heater to keep you toasty warm in cold conditions, and also a water heater, which can be used when washing up and showering.
At the back of the van is an outdoor shower head, great for when you are off grid and also to wash down any pets.
The van is fully insulated, keeping it warm and also reduces any noise from your surroundings, allowing you to have a good night’s sleep. Also included are the detachable insulated blinds for the front and side cab windows, making it dark when you come to sleep.
We had fitted a detachable Westfalia tow bar, which can be used with a bike rack.
On the outside of the van is a ‘Stitches + steel’ awning rail, which can be used with the awning of your choice. We used an inflatable Vango awning, which was brilliant for adding extra space to your camping experience.
Included with the van is a clean drinking water hose with EU thread adapter, and electric hook up cables for both UK and EU.
A heavy load bearing jack and spare wheel with anti-theft bolt.
