2.0 tdi Volkswagen transporter t6 t28
79000 miles although used daily
MOT June 2026 with no advisories
I purchased van in June 2024 with 57000 miles one owner from new with full main dealer service history
Over the past year or so I’ve changed oil and filter and air filter every 5000 miles and now just put it into an independent Volkswagen specialist for major service,
While there it also had brake discs and pads all round and brake fluid change
In readiness for sale I’ve also got rid of the usual transporter niggles ( if you’ve owned one you know)
I’ve renewed :
Sway bar bushes front and rear (poly bushes)
Drop links
Control arm ball joints
Track rod ends
Top suspension mounts
Rear spring rubbers
Clutch and flywheel were done as the flywheel was rattling, clutch was fine but changed anyway
Pendle performance re map, specially for transporters, very responsive now and great mpg mid 40,s on a long run, very safe remap for transporter mainly top end power for overtaking etc
Was 105 bhp now 160bhp
Mechanically in fantastic condition
Bodywork in great condition apart from one ding at bottom of barn door
So I bought the van with the intention of converting to an off grid adventure van
I’ve taken it to France, Switzerland and all over the uk and it has performed faultlessly
Externally it has roof bars and side bars fitted, 17 inch vw wheels with cooper discoverer all terrain tyres fitted
It is a twin slider with windows fitted to both doors, these both have van shades fitted, drivers side is an opener with bug screen, both have thermal black out blinds
On the roof are 2x 100w slimline solar panels connected to the leisure battery
I did the first fix myself, triple insulated to pro standards with dodo products and then the rest of the conversion was carried out by the PLY GUYS based at loch lomomd, check out there you tube channel
Much sought after and huge wait list for there conversions
It’s had u shaped seating, can be two benches also to carry bikes/ skis etc
