£17000 ono 'William Wordle' is for sale! 2011 MWB 313CDI Off Grid traveller

Formerly a crew cab William is a one year old conversion completed by a Blackrock Outfitters in March 2023. He is a great van for hikers/bikers and wanderers.
He came directly from his first owner via Blackrock to us.
He has an MOT until 27th February 2025 (with no advisories) and had a full service 14 months ago and isn’t due for another 12000 miles.
Recently had new handbrake shoes, new drive belt, pulleys, tensioner and alternator to ensure reliability and efficiency and the rocker head gasket replaced to ensure no nasty oil leaks on the ground.
….oh and a brand new windscreen replaced in the last month thanks to debris flying off a passing motorist.
He drives really well both on the motorway and along rough tracks with the BFgoodrich All Terrain tyres fitted. These have years of life left are not noisy but absorb a lot of uneven surfaces.

Internally at the rear there is a full size across width double bed which utilises side flares on both sides of the van.
There are touch sensitive reading lights over the bed with USB power sockets, light cotton curtains which give privacy on warm days and additional AA battery operated night lights than run the width of the cabin.
The bed is over a huge garage space currently fitted out for mountain bikes on a slide out shelf and still loads of room for plenty of gear and there is also a spotlight in that garage space.
We’ve had bikes, kayaks and fishing kit in the garage.

In the main cab there is plenty of storage space with a two burner hob, fridge/freezer and sink, additional overhead storage and a ‘cubby seat’ which doubles as seating and storage within which there is an unused chemical toilet.
Spotlights along the full length of the ceiling and strip lights under the overhead units allow you to choose your lighting style.

There is wood laminate flooring but we prefer to have warm carpet under foot.
Diesel powered heater

Off grid power is managed from the power unit under the front double passenger seat which swivels.
Under the seat are two leisure batteries, voltage display, wiring connections and additional USB ports. Split charge relay with leisure batteries charged from the main battery/while driving and solar power to ensure it stays fully topped up when off grid.
In the power control panel there is 12 volt power socket for small TV and other gadgets, even more USB ports and separate switches for the 12v system.
When on a campsite, the vehicle has 4 x 230v power sockets (also with USB chargers) when on electric hook up for bigger appliances such as air-fryers/ slow cookers and Amazon Alexa.

Body work is good condition.
