Zinnie is a recently converted VW T5 ready to be driven away on an adventure. Perfect for off grid living or campsite touring for a solo traveller, couple or (as we are) a family of 3. This van has been professionally handcrafted (by a quirky camper listed provider), with great attention to detail. The three of us drove Zinnie from Somerset to Sagres and back, and we all fell in love with him.

Construction
Insulation – All panels have 9mm foil backed self adhesive neoprene applied and all voids packed with recycled plastic insulating wool.

Cabinets and internal furniture created with 15mm lightweight polar ply wood, chosen for its strength & quality and weighing less than half its regular equivalent. Birch plywood for the door and drawer fronts, Farrow and Ball painted door and drawer fronts. All drawers have soft close runners with quick release clips to allow for easy cleaning. All doors and drawers have press button handles/locks for security while travelling. The worktop is a 22mm solid hardwood kitchen surface.

Altro floor covering chosen for its durability, comfort, ease of cleaning and sound deadening.

Interior body work – 4mm plywood panels on doors and vehicle sides and remaining exposed metalwork carpeted in 4 way stretch vehicle lining carpet. The two ceiling panels are done in light plywood with a lacquer applied for protection.
