Slowdown Campers is Ben and Katie in Hackney Wick, East London. We take on all stages of conversion, whether you want a fully off-grid home built from scratch, or a space-saving bed for festival camping. Carpenter and metalworker Ben will design and build unique features for every project, using high-grade functional materials like birch ply, recycled hardwoods, sustainably-sourced cork, and old copper. Slowdown Campers aim to create warm and natural interiors that have as low environmental impact as possible and feel more in-sync with the world you want to explore.
We work out of a joinery and metal workshop in Hackney Wick, East London. You are welcome to come by for a chat and see some of our current conversion projects.
