Campervans for Sale Handmade Toyota Vellfire Compact Campervan
Toyota Vellfire
2013 Toyota Vellfire, the upmarket twin of the Alphard and one of the most comfortable vehicles on the road at this size. Petrol, automatic, with 150,000km on the clock, regularly serviced and certified.
The Vellfire was built for people who spend a long time in the back, so the ride is quiet and soft, the seats are generous and the visibility is good. Being a people mover rather than a van, it drives like a car, parks like a car, and fits in a standard garage, which makes a real difference if the camper lives at home between trips.
At roughly 4.86m long, 1.84m wide and 1.9m high, he slips under most height barriers and down roads that would make a Hiace driver think twice.
Benji is a micro camper built on the idea that you don’t need a lot of van to have a proper holiday, just a well thought out one. Brand new conversion by Cruzar Custom Campervans, laid out for one or two people who want to travel light and park anywhere.
Sleeping: a comfortable bed that slides up into a seating area during the day, so the same space works for sitting, eating and sleeping without any fuss. Two berths.
Living and dining: a pull-out table in the cab with a bench seat, good for a meal or a few hands of cards after a day on the road. Slide the table away, fold the seat down and the bed is made in moments.
Kitchen: a good worktop and sink inside with a decent sized fridge. For cooking, the rear-facing table slides out and the portable gas hob sets up outside, which keeps the smells and the mess out of the living space. Pots, pans and cooking basics are included.
Bathroom: a fixed toilet.
Water: 25 litres each of fresh and grey water.
Power: solar for going off-grid, with 240V hook-up when you have a powered site.
Comfort: air conditioning, plus a radio and Bluetooth for the tunes.
Outdoors: a pull-out drawer and table at the rear, which makes a good spot for cooking and eating out or just watching the evening go by.
Certified and ready to go: green stickered for freedom camping where allowed.
The story
Benji is named after a family dog, and his owners Brenda and Andy say the camper was built in the same spirit: warmth, companionship and good company on the road. They had always wanted to try a smaller van, something with everything you need for a proper holiday but easy enough to travel in without thinking about it.
