Detailed Information
Vehicle Description

This 2006 Isuzu NQR is a house truck built on a cab-chassis rather than a van, which is what gives it the living space inside. A 5.2 litre turbo diesel with a manual gearbox, it has covered 110,352km, which is modest for a truck of this age and type.

It is New Zealand new, the PPSR is clear, and the paperwork is well ahead: Certificate of Fitness to 10/09/2027, registration to 20/08/2027, and an electrical warrant of fitness to June 2029.

One thing to know before you enquire. At 9,000kg this is a Class 2 heavy vehicle and needs a Class 2 licence to drive. It is not a car licence motorhome, and that is worth settling before you fall in love with it.

Conversion Description

The appeal of a house truck is simple: room to live in rather than just camp in. This one is laid out properly, with the living space arranged across the full width of the body rather than squeezed down one side of a van.

Sleeping: a Luton double bed over the cab, with steps down to the driving cab, plus the dinette converting for additional sleeping.

Living and dining: a large wrap-around rear lounge and dinette with windows on three sides, which makes it bright and sociable rather than a corridor with a bed at the end.

Kitchen: a galley down one side with a four-burner cooktop, a separate oven and grill, a stainless sink, stone-look benchtops, a rangehood, and a Dometic three-way fridge.

Bathroom: a separate shower cubicle alongside the toilet, with a vanity basin and mirror cabinet. A separate cubicle rather than a combined wet room is rare at any price and makes daily life considerably easier.

Living extras: a flat screen television and a 12V house control panel with battery monitoring.

Finish: hard-wearing cork-look flooring with warm wood-trim cabinetry throughout.

Certified and ready to go: green self-containment through to June 2029, with the electrical warrant running to the same date.
