This is a very clean and unmessed around with Transporter. Nothing aftermarket, all original VW.
This camper has been painstakingly converted over several years by myself (a carpenter/engineer now converting campervans professionally as http://www.demausmarsden.com). Beautiful and very versatile solid oak and birch ply interior. One of a kind.

BODYWORK
Was rear ended while parked up in Nov 2018. Offside rear 3/4 has been repaired and resprayed really well so in very good condition (over 10k spent by insurer). New rear bumper also.
Front bumper and other plastics and fabrics in very good condition for age.
Near side has a few small areas of surface rust and some small scrapes/dents. Happy to show them all out. Nothing serious but could be improved with a good polish.
Sliding door used to have a mortice lock fitted. This was filled and resprayed but the colour match isn’t perfect.
Otherwise still looks very smart for its age.
The van is available to view and test drive at any time in the weekday or evenings at my workshop in Saltford or my home in Easton, Bristol.

Overall I find this layout to be hugely versatile. The rear double seats is removable and the central gangway is kept clear with a 2.4m load length so can still carry 8’x4’ timber sheets or many bikes/surfboards etc. The extra height in the roof makes it feel much more spacious and can be comfortably stood in.
The bed can be pulled out to any width and cushions can be used in any combination of the 1, 2 or 3 cushions for comfortable sleeping for 1 or 2 adults. 6 people can comfortably sit inside when the passenger seats are rotated. Excellent when its raining
The interior is made entirely from solid oak, pine or birch ply and has been recently cleaned up, resanded and varnished. This is a great advantage over cheaper laminates that degrade with use and cannot be repaired.
I now work as a professional carpenter and have done many other campervan conversions. I am happy to work with the eventual buyer to adjust the interior in any way to suit their individual needs. This can include installation of a diesel heater, fridge, hob, solar power etc etc.
The bed can be pulled out to any width between 0.5 and 1.1m and cushions can be used in any combination of the 1, 2 or 3 cushions for comfortable sleeping for 1 or 2 adults. Mattress foam is 4″ thick (3″ of firm, 1″ of memory). The cushions/mattress have not yet been upholstered but I could arrange for this to be done in a material of your choice.
6 people can comfortably sit inside when the passenger seats are rotated. Excellent when its raining!
