For sale is our White VW T6 Campervan named ‘Bowie’. It has been professionally converted by Welsh Coast Campers.
The Van:
– has a 2 litre diesel engine and a 5-speed gearbox.
– has had a JVC touchscreen entertainment unit installed on the dashboard which is connected to a reverse camera. This was done after we bought the van
– Apple CarPlay and Android Auto available via wired USB connection
– JVC unit also has DAB radio
– MOT due December 2025, no advisories
– Full service history, major service completed in January 2025 – auxiliary belt replaced during this service
– generally get around 400 miles per tank of diesel
– 3 belted seats in front, 2 belted seats in rear
– Tow bar fitted after we bought the van
The Conversion:
– 4 berth camper, 2 up and 2 down
– Pop up roof supported by gas struts
– Separate mattress for pop up included
– Front passenger seats have storage underneath and rotate to face rear of van
– Full side conversion with Waeco CRX50 fridge, 2 x Smev gas stoves, sink and tap including pump and water container, and storage
– Rock n Roll bed (M1 Tested) with room for storage underneath
– Light-switches and 1 x plug socket
– Reading light and USB socket attached to side unit
– Spot lights on passenger side of van touch operated
– Socket on back of rock n roll bed to plug in solar panels
– Gas bottle installed in rear of side conversion
– Side awning, and Vango tent awning can also attach to the side awning (Vango tent awning sleeps one)
We are selling as we are looking to buy a house later this year. We’ve had some great adventures in Bowie. £29500 ONO.
The conversion is in very good condition. It has a pop up where a mattress can be added for people to sleep (mattress provided!).
The hobs and sink work well and there’s plenty of storage in the van. The Rock n Roll bed is comfy and we have a mattress topper to put on it.
The lighting is great and there’s a plug in (with charging cable included) for hooking up the van to power at camp sites. The van has a split charge relay so can charge the leisure battery when van is on and on the move!
