Really reluctant sale of my sister’s pride and joy due to her recently buying a house and currently being 38 weeks pregnant, baby is imminent 😬 (hence I have offered to manage this listing-although I did get her to do a video tour of it which I can send to anyone interested 😊).

She brought Bertie as an unconverted minibus in 2021 after realising that her budget of 10000 wasn’t going to buy her the kind of camper she wanted (ended up spending more than this on the van and conversion anyway 🙈). The plan was to have extended trips away with her husband and be able to use as a base to work from. She also hoped to rent it out so no expense has been spared ensuring heating, electrics and gas are up to standard. The engine has also had some love, most notably a new gearbox and clutch to ensure it is bombproof for long trips.

She managed a trip away to Europe and Scotland and very kindly lent it to me for my honeymoon trip to Italy last year. Both our husbands are over 6ft and although it’s a not a high top they found it more than comfortable. (also keeps the weight down and means it can fit under car park barriers)

The rest of the time she has spent weekends converting it (with lots of help and guidance on its conversion from our aircraft engineer father and very talented craftsman step-father). It is well insulated all round, has a larger than standard double bed with memory foam mattress, desk, cooker, loads of storage, top of the range LPG cooker, fridge, electrics (leisure battery can be charged by solar/alternator and mains), LPG heating system and underslung 25litre tank. It is such a great van and is so nearly completed but her pregnancy and recent house purchase mean it must find a new home.

Please note the Speedo and odometer are currently broken (our local garage has quoted her £300 to fix it). Ali used a Tom Tom to keep track of the speed but she will knock this off the advertised price so you can fix if you wish.

The Last recorded mileage by the DVLA was 140,098 km (87,000 miles) in July 2019. She bought Bertie in 2021 and her travels since then to have added approximately 5,000 miles maximum.

Priced for quick sale due to baby so no time wasters please. Happy for inspections and test drives. Priority is finding her a fabulous new home where she can be enjoyed.
