Glastonbury is back for 2027! After a planned fallow year, Worthy Farm reopens from Wednesday 23rd to Sunday 27th June 2027. So, after two years away, demand for tickets, campervan passes and festival-ready vans is going to be higher than anything we’ve seen…

Tickets will go on sale on Thursday the 1st October (ticket & coach packages) and Sunday 4th October (general admission). If you want to be there in a campervan, your date is Sunday the 4th of October. More on that below.

GLASTONBURY COSTS EXPLAINED

Ticket Info

The Glastonbury Festival will run from Wednesday 23rd to Sunday 27th June 2027.

Ticket + coach packages go on sale at 6pm on Thursday 1st October 2026. General admission goes on sale at 9am on Sunday 4th October 2026. Tickets are £408 + £5 booking fee, with a £100 deposit per person on the day and the balance due 1st–7th April 2027.

Everyone aged 13 or over needs their own registration number before they can buy a ticket. It’s free and takes a few minutes. Registration closes at 5pm on Friday 25th September 2026 and doesn’t reopen until after the October sales. If your miss it, you can’t buy a ticket at all.

Campervan pass dates for 2027 haven’t been announced yet. For the 2025 festival, passes went on sale eleven days after general admission so expect mid-to-late October. You need a general admission ticket before you can buy one.

If you want a campervan, buy general admission, not the coach package

There are two ticket sales and they aren’t interchangeable. In 2025, campervan and caravan passes were sold only to general admission ticket holders – buy a ticket + coach package and you couldn’t get a campervan pass at all.

The 2027 rules haven’t been published and almost certainly won’t be before 1st October, so you’ll be deciding without official confirmation. Plan for the same rule: if a van is the plan, Sunday 4th October is your sale.

Pick-up and Drop-Off: Vehicle owners can’t deliver to site. Please check the campervan locations before booking; we have campervans across the UK so you should be able to find something near you or on your way

    Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Bluebelle was absolutely brilliant and made our Shindig Festival weekend so comfortable. We were two adults and two children, and there was plenty of space for all of us. You can tell a huge amount of thought has gone into every detail. We loved the clever pump sink, and were amazed at how long the water lasted. There were so many thoughtful touches throughout the van, including the magnetic picture that transforms into a blind, which we thought was such a lovely idea. The bed over the cab was fantastic and really helped maximise the space. We didn't get a chance to use the stove because we were lucky enough to have a heatwave, but it would make Bluebelle incredibly cosy on cooler evenings. Despite the hot weather, we stayed cool and comfortable throughout our trip. Everything was clean, well organised and easy to use. Bluebelle is a beautiful campervan, full of character and practical features. We'd happily hire her again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable campervan adventure. Louise

Here is our review of Solveig.  "Perfect. Solveig is a robust van with absolutely everything we needed. She drove brilliantly - smooth and economical. The handover was great and Matt was thorough in explaining everything to us. We had lots of space, a really comfy bed, plenty of water - hot and cold, outside shower (she has both internal and external shower, but we opted for al fresco and use the inside for storage). The fridge was really efficient and kept everything cool. We had 6 nights fully off grid and didn't need hook-up at all and just needed to empty water once. Brilliant! Awning, super-comfy reclining outdoor chairs, table and loads of other accessories - fab. Oh, a final word on the lighting. Great internal lights. Magical. We really stood out in a field full of vans and she got a lot of attention - all good of course. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Charlotte was responsive in the pre-hire period and even with a question when we were away. We were given a complete run through on how everything worked. Everything was as expected from what was advertised in the web site. If you are 2 adults I would recommend not sleeping on the bed within the camper van as this is more suited to children, it's very hard.

I could not have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend anyone book Florence if they want to be offgrid or on and have all the amenities as well. Having a full oven made a huge difference and having a toilet and shower was so convenient. Florence is a beautiful , capable ,safe easy to drive camper combine that with the ease of communication and clarity of instructions from Paul makes this a win-win situation. Paul was extremely easy to communicate with and sent over an easy to read , functional set of instructions for Florence prior to my arrival so I felt quite at home and capable of driving Florence straightaway. What does it cost to hire a Quirky Camper for the Glastonbury festival period

Most groups spend £1,000–£1,400 on the van for the festival week – around £250–£300 per person in a four or five berth. This will be depending on the van, the size and the collection point. That includes the campervan, insurance and breakdown cover, and kitchen equipment. It does not include your festival ticket or campervan pass.

Why Take A Campervan to A Festival?

It’s time to leave the wet wipes at home. From the safety and security of a campervan, you can have all your little luxuries while still enjoying the Glastonbury Festival vibes to the full. Come back after a full day and night of dancing, singing and general festival shenanigans to a warm, plush bed, a solid roof over your head, running water, solar panels for your gadgets, a full kitchen for a hangover-curing morning fry-up, and even a shower if you choose from our luxury range with showers included. If this isn’t the best way to do a festival, we don’t know what is!

How do I book accommodation near Glastonbury?

Three options, and they fill in this order: a campervan pass for the on-site or Bath & West fields, an off-site campsite within shuttle distance, or accommodation further out. For the campervan route you need a general admission ticket, then a pass, then a van that meets the spec.

Which companies offer shuttle services to Glastonbury?

Glastonbury runs a free 24-hour shuttle between the Bath & West campervan fields and the festival bus station. Several off-site campsites near Pilton run their own – we’ve listed those with distances and prices in our off-site campsites guide.

Where can I buy official Glastonbury Festival tickets?

Only at glastonbury.seetickets.com, the festival’s sole authorised seller. Tickets carry the holder’s photo and are non-transferable, so resale sites are both risky and pointless. Registration is separate and free.

What are the campervan fields actually like?

No electric hook-up, and generators aren’t allowed. For five days you’re running on the van’s leisure battery and solar. Worth choosing a van with decent off-grid power if you care about charging phones.

What’s provided: fresh water taps, waste disposal points, toilets, 24-hour security and a 24-hour food trader.

You don’t choose your pitch. It’s first come, first served and stewards direct you in. If you’re going with friends, arrive in convoy — turn up separately and you won’t be parked together.

Awnings are allowed, but there’s room for an awning or a car alongside the van, not both.

On-site or off-site: the East fields are roughly a ten-minute walk to the site and twenty to the main stages. Bath & West is off-site with a free 24-hour shuttle — further out, but usually a quieter night.

Which campervans can go in the on-site fields?

Glastonbury’s on-site East campervan fields take vehicles up to 8 metres. Anything longer can only use the large pitch at the Bath & West Showground, which sits off-site with a free 24-hour shuttle — and cost £100 more than a standard pitch in 2025.

Of our fleet, 255 vans come in under 8 metres and can use the on-site fields.

Worth knowing if you’re comparing hire companies: Glastonbury restricts delivered hire vehicles to Bath & West. Our vans are collected from the owner and driven by you, so you’re not a delivered vehicle and the on-site fields stay open to you.

Check the length on the listing before you buy your pass. You can’t change the pitch type afterwards.

Which campervans are available?

Can I book before I have a campervan pass?

Yes, and most people do- but book with your eyes open. Once a booking is placed it will be subject to our standard cancellation policy.

90 days prior to trip start – If you cancel until this date, you will receive a Full Refund

30 days prior to trip start – If you cancel until this date, you will receive an 80% refund

14 days prior to trip start – If you cancel until this date, you will receive a 50% refund

7 days prior to trip start – If you cancel until this date, you will receive a 20% refund

Here’s the trade-off. Campervan passes go on sale a few weeks after tickets, and when they do, every ticket holder starts looking for a van on the same day. Only 60% of our owners take Glastonbury bookings, and it’s largely the same group every year. 50% of our bookings for the 2025 festival came in within 15 days of the pass sale.

Wait until you have a pass in hand and you’ll be choosing from what’s left.
