– brand new refurbed 5 speed gearbox – MOT until 23rd June. Runs beautifully, with lots of care, effort, time, and money invested in to bring it to the current like-new condition. It has served us well, accompanying us on various road trips and weekends away, including the full NC500 last summer.
Now with a recently replaced and refurbed manual gearbox and brand new battery, it will make a mighty and reliable vehicle for both short hop touring and longer multi-week road trips. The van boasts a pristine exterior and a thoughtfully converted bespoke interior with memory foam cushions, built-in gas stove, electric cool box, tinted rear windows and ample storage. The van remains in excellent condition for a camper of its age, with no rust on the bodywork and all other systems functioning as expected. Features include captain-style chairs, an aftermarket remote alarm and locking system, leisure battery for the built-in lights, fridge and water pump and a Bluetooth car stereo for entertainment. Recently converted to a manual by the fantastic James at Cali Campers (New Milton) who also replaced several other worn parts too. There is also an extensive part-service history – record of works, MOT’s and repairs etc dating back to 2004. It has been a VERY tough and sad decision to let it go, but due to medical restrictions, I can’t personally drive a manual, so it’s like having a toy I can’t play with. As such, I would rather see it go to someone who will give it the trips out and love that we just can’t any more. Full length fold out bed that covers the whole length of the back, plenty of room to stretch out as well as plenty of storage underneath. The memory foam cushions and non slip pads all fit together perfectly to create very comfortable mattress in the sleeping configuration. Also can be configured in to a two seater couch AND a third configuration for seating around main table. Four adults can sit around the table snugly, and 2 adults and a pet can sleep very comfortably when the bed is fully extended. (Bear in mind there are only two belted seats in the whole van though)
