A very versatile vehicle. Can be used as a daily driver as well as a weekend bike, board or canoe transporter and holiday camper. One of the better small vans to drive due to its independent rear suspension and perky engine. Base vehicle is a long wheel base, high roof Fiat Doblo. Uses an efficient and reliable 1.6 multijet diesel engine that averages 45mpg. Just passed it’s MOT and not due now till the 2 January 2027. Serviced every £10k miles. Has a solar panel, inverter and leisure battery. Hand pump tap and sink with grey water tank. 12 volt fridge
The Thule bike rack needs some attention but generally in very good condition as has not been used commercially beyond its first 23k miles when it was converted. Very little rust.
Converted by my son in law, this being his forth conversion. Dodo sound insulation. Recycled plastic loft and reflective bubble foil insulation used throughout. Lightweight ply used to create 5 storage cupboards and drop down table. bulkhead storage and external access for fresh and grey water. Engineered ash flooring. Hand pump sink and 12 volt fridge. Solar panel, leisure battery 12 volt and USB chargers. The fold out bed can be removed so that bikes or boards can be carried on day trips. Rear bike rack needs some attention. This van bridges that gap between a daily user and a dedicated camper van making it a really versatile vehicle being both great to drive and good accommodation.
