Nutmeg, handcrafted, cosy Ducato DEPOSIT TAKEN

Nutmeg was completed and put out for hire on Quirky campers in 2020 (she was instantly popular and everyone loved her!) We’ve had many long and short trips throughout the UK (she drives beautifully) and have loved every second but we’ve now made the difficult decision to sell, due to work taking over this year. We’re hoping she will bring new owners as much pleasure as she has given us.
The base vehicle is a 2014 Fiat Ducato LWB. Chassis & body is rust and corrosion free, body work is in really good condition but does have a few small age related dints. The cab is clean and tidy, again just showing signs of use here and there.
The van living area is fully insulated and lined with pine cladding. The side windows have tinted privacy glass, the 2 port holes are double glazed. Laminate oak effect flooring. There is a quick to heat up diesel heater with LCD display and remote control, for those chilly winter nights and for use all year round.
2 large solar panels charge the leisure battery, making wild camping, off grid, a joy.
The full double bed is fixed with memory foam mattress and the seating can be converted to form a small bed for a young child or a place to lounge with your feet up.
The seat cushions and fabrics are neutral grey, the blinds all custom made to fit the 2 port holes, side windows and hatch between the living area and the cab. There is a removable pine table, lots of wall shelf storage, a fixed wall mirror, carbon monoxide detector and 2 roof vents. The Porta Potti is stored under one of the bench seats, with more storage under the other.
Included in the sale is a pop up toilet/shower tent and a USB camping shower with pump.

There are 6 ceiling spotlights, LED lights around the sleeping area and a handy outside light strip above the side sliding door. USB 12V phone charging points are next to the bed. 
The kitchen has been thoughtfully designed with quirky rope handles , solid beech worktop and loads of storage space along with a deep stainless steel butlers sink (with integrated drying rack and chopping board) copper pipe tap operated using a bakelite wall switch and a 3 ring gas hob with glass lid. The fridge is a compressor fridge/freezer and there is a pocket shelf holding a handy basket drawer.
Nutmeg is amazingly dog friendly, the hatch under the double bed houses a large cosy area perfect for 2 dogs to sleep, this space would provide a large storage area if not needed for dogs. Even with the dog bed in use, there is still plenty boot storage for any other essentials like folding chairs, awning etc
The heating system was designed to be sure that the heat was well distributed around the living area and so the dogs would be warm in their beds. There is also a “drying cupboard” under the sink, perfect for drying off damp towels, hiking boots etc
