Insulation
An extensive effort was made to ensure that the van was insulated as much as possible. The vehicle was fully insulated with Celotex, vapour barrier and lined with plywood.
Electrical system
The wiring was completed using a kit from Rayne Automotive.
The two 115 AH batteries are charged using a 200 W Solar panel and split relay system. The split relay system charge of the van when the engine is turned on. There is also mains electric hook up.
ISOTHERM ELEGANCE 65LT- 12v Compressor fridge with freezer.
SMEV Dometic 9222 Campervan Sink and Cooker/Hob Combi Unit. Gas connection to Campingaz R904 refillable cylinder.
Waste and fresh water tanks- 25L.
Main diesel heater with smart LCD controllers and wireless remote.
Engine:
– The engine was replaced with a reconditioned engine in September 2018.
– New radiator (25/8/21)
– Crankshaft pully, drive belt tensioner and drive belt replaced (17/11/21).
