Review: Beautiful conversion, with great communication.

We decided to go ahead with our campervan conversion once we saw examples of Malcolm’s work. At the time, Malcolm lived over the Pennines from us in Sheffield so we were lucky enough to be able to see a van that he had recently finished. We were not keen on the glossy VW type finishes and really liked the fact that Malcolm used wood and natural materials. He took time to listen to us and design the van that we wanted. We decided to go ahead and the van went in for the work in July 2022 and was finished in the November. During this time Malcolm kept us informed with emails and photographs and whenever a decision needed to be made he always provided us options in terms of solutions, materials and costs. Malcolm told us that he designed vans to be as simple mechanically as they could be to avoid the need for specialist and expensive repairs. We put this to the test as the water pump stopped working and we were able to rectify this easily and cheaply. We have been in touch with Malcolm to discuss further works to the van to respond to changing circumstances and he been very helpful (although not as conveniently located for us, it did mean we had a lovely weekend in the van in Edinburgh). We love our van and we recommend Malcolm wholeheartedly.
