Jimmy's Vans

Hi, I’m Jimmy and I love vans! I am obsessed with coming up with fun ways of using small spaces to get the most practicality out of them, I spend most of my idle moments thinking about vans and am always up for chatting vans with anyone!

I’m happy carrying out full conversions or just little jobs for you. I also have space for 2 vans in my workshop so there is potential if I only have 1 van in and the dates line up that customers could rent some space to work on their vans themselves and also pay me work on certain aspects, or collaborate on it together.

I absolutely love working with wood and building custom cabinets, getting creative with techniques which save space and weight, whilst using high quality durable materials which stay looking great for years. I also love using reclaimed materials and figuring out how to work them into projects so if you’ve got any fun materials or wacky ideas that you want to incorporate then I’m all ears.

I first built my own van, Nessy, 8 years ago on a pretty tight budget and although she was no spring chicken when we met and my skills certainly weren’t what they are now we’ve made some unbelievable memories together. I just want to help other people do the same thing so I’ll do my best to work with you to come up with something special that meets your needs and desires and help you get out there!
