Super reliable and robust
Priced to sell — out of season price under budget for a camper that is worth more when you look at what features/tech it has such as 360w solar panel, compressor fridge, diesel heater etc.

Great camper space, very reliable and robust and it passed its MOT today with flying colours to support it’s mechanical excellence. Renault Master MK11s (2005-2010) are one of the best vans ever made and along with a super strong engine are galvanised so do not rust.

Summary of the base van behind the camper:
Last March 2022, this camper benefited from a specialist overhaul upgrading before converting to a camper, changing and servicing all working parts including reconditioned gearbox, brand new clutch kit, a new cambelt and auxilary belt, rear brake discs, calliper and pads, new brakes/calipers/pads, 4x new ball joints, starter motor, water pump, sump gasket and camshaft seals, EGR, new wheel hubs, plus removing the old air suspension system and replacing with a new manual suspension. After all of this work, it was given a new MOT and a FULL service including ALL filters and fluids… and yes I have all the paperwork to verify this work.

It’s been a joy to own, always starting whatever the weather first time every time. Amazingly, the oil level hasn’t moved since it was last serviced and I’m assured the engine is bone dry with no leaks, so it’s very likely it is a newer engine as the NHS due tend to change them a lot. I could wax lyrical all day, so in simple terms it’s ultra reliable and efficient and is a real motorway cruiser that eats up the miles without grumbles.

It’s the G9U Renault 2.5 turbo engine
Manual – 6 gears
31-34mpg on average, will do 38/39mpg on motorway
Eberspacher diesel heater in the rear operated from the cab – toasty warm
Reversing camera (easy to park)
Two Captain’s chairs in the cab which open up the space and it’s super useful just stepping through to the back
Already registered on it’s V5 as a motorhome so you’re good to go.

Conversion Description

First and foremost, it’s a lovely space to be in. Lots of light, space and contrast going on so a great place to just hang out/easy to get in and out of the cab. The table area is a cool spot to hang out and watch the world go by, enjoy a coffee or work on your laptop.

A brand new, still packaged mattress is supplied for the bed which is approx 6ft 1 in length x 4ft 4in wide so not far off a full-size double bed.

Standing height 6ft 2in and three levels of insulation in the walls and ceiling (including covering over four of the six side windows) consisting of sound insulation, 25mm insulation board and finished with large sections of thermal wrap to prevent condensation. The floor has about 60mm of insulation so feels solid.

It’s a spacious camper being a longer wheel base and I have retained that spacious feel with the layout and colour scheme to create a social/relaxing space offering peripheral views whilst retaining privacy with the tinted windows. The kitchen area is painted white, the seating area grey, both from the Farrow and Ball paint range. The floor is also grey.

Kitchen: The kitchen area is to just to the right of the side door on entry and consists of a 2-ring glass domino hob, decent size sink and cold water supply. There’s an overhead locker and more storage inside the kitchen unit via drawers and cupboard space. The area feels clean and crisp with a view out of the window when preparing food. The fridge is close inside the bench and is an Alpicool compressor chest fridge. around 40l I believe, so quite spacious and you can leave on day and night.

There is an overhead locker across the back of the camper/above bed offering storage/bookshelf, night-time gadgets. Underneath the bed is sectioned into three areas — the electrics/battery to the left, the portaloo and storage in the centre and lastly the water and spare tyre to the right.

Seating: There are two box seats divided by a removable table, set against a grey wall, Mole’s Breath is the name of the paint. It’s a very deliberate colour choice and contrasts well with the white paint and bare timber and the feeling of being inside the camper is enhanced somehow. The bench is free for storage as is the overhead locker. The Captain’s chairs in the cab swing around to open up a social space in this area supported by views outside, excellent heater or skylight above depending on the time of year (although the skylight needs a replacement pull screen).

Spec: The camper is either off-grid or campsite friendly being that it has both solar power and electric 230v hook up features for campsite.

Spec summary as follows…

360w Monocrystalline Solar Panel — Premium Range with 19.19% Cell Efficiency — linked up to a Renology MPPT control module.
Split Charge Relay for charging battery when driving.
Huge VARTA 190a/h Leisure battery vented with an escape vent in the floor
Remote Controlled Inverter 1000w with 4-way extension plug
USB charge points / two individual LED lights for different areas of the camper plus a secret amber lighting strip under the window.
Alpicool Compressor Chest Fridge
Shurflo water pump / pressure switch connected to an onboard 25litre cold water supply
2-ring gas hob which runs off a 3.9kg gas bottle (I am not gas certified).
230v electric hook up system with two internal plus sockets and trip board.
Push up type skylight
High quality Eberspacher heater – controlled via switch on the dashboard with 4 different settings.
Reversing camera
Privacy glass

To clarify, this is a spacious (DVLA registered) campervan/motorhome with a modern design and flexible layout and has been mechanically overhauled and extensively serviced making the mileage almost irrelevant now as it will outlast much newer vehicles. It feels solid on the roads/bends and drives very well, a serious consideration if you’re planning a European adventure a need a reliable wagon.

I would recommend and oil change this month to preserve its excellent condition, but I have just put a full 12 months MOT on it for the new buyer.

Toilet not included / space under bed can be used to suit new ownership and has rachet points to carry bicycles, surfboards or just lots of luggage.

Delivery can be made possible on receipt of non-refundable deposit plus travel costs of approx 70p a mile depending on train ticket price and availability back, please message for details.
