Conversion Description

2010 CITROEN RELAY 35 L3H2 2.2HDI 120.
*price negotiable for quick sale as moving to America* FRESHLY MOT’d 12th march with NO advisories- meaning you can drive off without a worry! This is our home, we take a lot of care with it. We have full service and MOT history, kept all invoices and receipts. Everything from previous years MOT was fully fixed.

Incredibly cosy homemade campervan with very well-equipped interior and features!
Everything is made of wood, taking care of even in the smallest detail. The floor and the counter is made of pine which is resistant to wear and tear and looks fantastic with live edges. The handles are rope, preserving the vintage touch. Inside it you feel like you’re in a beautiful bungalow with wheels.

Selling as I’m going to work in America at the end of may, and not sure when I’ll be back or for how long!

In the kitchen, stick-on Moroccan style tiles line the kitchen walls. The van is very obviously handmade and the interior very special.

The general technical specification of the van includes the following:

GAS/HEATING:

-Fully insulated and moisture barrier
– Propex heatsource 2000, central gas heating. Located inside one of the cupboards of the van, under the counter with a wall mounted thermostat. Gets the van roasting in <5mins. Will turn off when van has reached a certain temperature and turn back on when temperature drops, so can maintain a heat if required for chilliest uk days!
– Copper piping installation.
– currently 11kg gas bottle, situated in one of the cupboards under the counter. It is isolated and secured with holes on the floor in case of leak. It is also strapped into the wall as per gas safety standards. Up to 13kg gas tank can be fitted into the cupboard, but we use a Manchester company currently who only do 11kg- calor can be more difficult to get hold of so I’d recommend finding a local company if you’re not from Manchester.
– digital Carbon monoxide alarm, new one recently fitted. Lasts 10 years

WATER:

– Kitchen sink with vintage style tap.
– Shurflo Trail King 30PSI Pump
– 75L capacity water tank split in 3 big bottles, 25L each (one can be used for grey water if you wish). All of them are inside the van, under the kitchen sink.

KITCHEN:

– 78L Dometic CRE80 Compressor Motorhome & Campervan – 70L fridge and 8L freezer, under the Campingaz.
– Campingaz XCelebrate 400 SG, twin hob and grill.
– checked by gas engineer and new pipes fitted in November
– Magnetic spice racks on wall
– nets hooked on walls, perfect for garlic, onions, or potatoes!

ELECTRICS:

– 2 Big solar panels on the roof that you should not be worried about to run out of battery.
– 2 brand new numax 105AH AGM Heavy duty leisure batteries.
– Split charge relay (charges leisure batteries when driving and disconnects the van battery when not driving so the van battery doesn't drain.
– Inverter 1200W Sine wave, max 3000W, can run kettle, toastie maker, and if it’s very sunny or you’re driving a lot you could use appliances like hair dryer and air fryer, (as long as you’re charging back up regularly!)
– 12V Main fuse board under the kitchen sink, well protected with a 5mm polycarbonate sheet.
– TF03K Power meter, to give battery capacity as a percentage remaining.
– Multi-coloured LED strip lights all around the cabin, with mobile phone app control and controller.
– 3 DC sockets unit in the side wall of the van, right in the middle.
– 2 USB DC Sockets (not from inverter) on the back of the van, perfect to charge your phone during the night and keep it close.
– 12v lighter and 2 USB unit QC3.0 DC, next to the side door, close to the driver’s cabin.
– light switch that control the 8 ceiling LED spotlights.

BEDROOM:

– Foldable King size bed (1,5x2m). During the day is a large sofa on the side of the van. And if you are in solo you can keep it as sofa to sleep. It has a very comfortable mattress.

STORAGE:

– Under the sofa-bed there are 4 secured wood boxes (46x31x25 cm each) to use as storage and behind them you can storage long stuff as camping chairs, wheel chocks, parasol, windbreak, etc.
– Storage all along the other side of the van under the counter, including a 3 drawer furniture (62x30x70 cm).
– Plenty of storage under the seats (in the driver cabin).
– Foldable shelve attached on the rear door.
– 2 shelves, one on top of the kitchen sink and the other on top of the bed.

VENTILATION:

– 1 Fiamma Skylight with mosquito net (42x42cm).
– 1 side sliding window with black out blinds. It is the only one in the van so you can keep your privacy.
– Curtains on the rear doors if you want to sit with it open and take in any spectacular views!

**The Camper also comes with:
-lots of kitchenware including; cutlery, cute plastic plates and bowls, omnia oven with all accessories (perfect for van life check out YouTube videos if you wanna learn more; kit worth over £150), enamel mugs, chopping board
-brand new battery charger, if you’re ever gonna be out of the van for a while, you can disconnect the batteries and recharge them before using it again.
– Sunncamp Swift caravan canopy 390 that can be fitted on the van using the side awning rail attached.
– Porta Potty, kept in a wooden cupboard box that is a sit and you can use as additional storage.
– Firestop bottle spray.
– Wheel chocks
– Wood filler
– CT1 Sealant
-Oil &other handy bits and pieces for maintenance

The mechanical conditions are excellent.
Everything can be shown against the corresponding invoices.

Drives smooth and perfectly with no faults.
It has some scratches and peeled paint due to the age of the vehicle. However, it has not been an inconvenience for us because in this way you can keep thieves far so they do not expect the treasure there is inside. We have lived in the van full time since November and have never been moved on or bothered once- we often live in residential car parks or shopping centres cause that’s where I work and it’s free parking. People assume it’s a work van and it’s supposed to be there, it’s been a lot handier for us.

Living in a van for this long has taught us a lot- we are more than happy to help out whoever takes our baby next ! It’s always handy to have someone who understands van life close by.
If you have any questions don’t hesitate to text us, we will be very happy to help you.
