I am sadly parting ways with my beloved camper as it is time for an upgrade!
Rosie is a uniquely designed and lovingly self-built camper (with help from a professional joiner and electrician). Perfect for exploring the UK and Europe with a calming, cosy space for you to relax. The furniture is all handmade from plywood and coated in varnish, I like the rustic look but this could be easily painted to suit your taste.
There is a super comfy static double bed with a memory foam mattress, I have mostly used the van solo but this comfortably sleeps both me and my partner. There is a pull-out table at either side of the bed (one for indoors one for outdoors) which is perfect for brewing your morning coffee.
It has two cube benches that are moveable so can be used indoors or out, these double up as handy storage containers. The floor and ceiling are fitted with smooth spruce cladding and the walls are carpeted for extra warmth. It has been fully sound deadened and insulated. It has a kitchen unit with shelves, three spacious draws, two cupboards and has loads of storage under the bed for any large equipment e.g. camping chairs and BBQ. There is a sink with handmade copper tap, this works on a foot pump system so you never have to worry about running out of power, fresh and waste water containers included. I also have a portable 45L fridge/freezer that can be included for free (RRP £371). Everything has convenient and secure fastenings to stop things moving about while driving.
Rosie has brand new upgraded 2-way coaxial speakers so the sound system is great quality – a must have for all that time on the road! This year it has also had brand new batteries (I learnt that Ford transits have 2 batteries, not including the leisure) and new central locking system with 2 keys.
There is no fixed stove as I prefer to use a portable one so it can be used outside. It has lots of sockets, UBS ports, and spot lights. There is a leisure battery and solar panel giving you an endless source of power for a true off-grid experience. Comes with handmade thermal blackout blinds.
Features:
Audio upgrade: 17.2 coaxial speaker system, 250 watts
Bluetooth, aux and radio
JK 45ltr 12V-240v compressor fridge/freezer
Solar panel: 100 watt 12 v monocrystalline + 12/24v LCD PWM charge controller
Is has a static bed with foam mattress, just smaller than a double but comfortably sleeps 2
