Conversion Story: Tiny Tim is our third campervan to join our Northern Campers fleet available to rent though Quirky Campers, following on from Tyson and Cordelia. Tiny Tim has been built by the professionals over at Northern Conversions to a very high spec and to the highest of standards.
The brief was to build a van which can fit in a normal car parking space, but with all of the comforts and space needed to enjoy an off-grid adventure. The Cabinetry mainly uses reclaimed wood with a blend of lightweight panels and pine cladding to give the van a rustic but Scandi look, there's plenty of light coming in to this little camper with an opening side window and two quirky porthole windows in the rear!

We absolutely loved our long weekend away in Tiny Tim! He was spotlessly clean, surprisingly spacious (even including our dog and all 6'4 of Chris!) and easy to drive, even for us as novices. Tiny Tim had everything we needed for our time away and collecting him from the North East meant we didn't need to go far to explore Northumberland and Scotland too! Laura was delightful and helpful and her informative video on all aspects of the van was very useful too! We will definitely be back to try some of the other Vans she has to offer!

We had an excellent adventure in Tiny Tim and even though he's small it worked for 2 of us including paddle boards, which we stored on the front seats at night and in the back when driving. Tiny Tim is really well set-up and includes everything you need for a great holiday. The fridge is surprisingly spacious and effective, and the heating kept us warm and toasty despite the windy weather. Thank you to the Northern Campers team for arranging our trip at such short notice.

We absolutely loved our trip in Tiny Tim. Myself and my fiance travelled up along the NC500 with no issues whatsoever. The fridge, hob and sink were a godsend when we spent two nights wild camping. This was our first time in a campervan and have been converted to the van life!

Tiny Tim was perfect for our trip away! We loved the freedom it gave us, with everything we needed. He was easy to drive, and conveniently fit into a normal sized parking space which was a bonus! It didn’t feel too much different to driving an average sized car! Marrick and Laura were super nice and very helpful which made the whole experience a breeze! I would definitely take Tiny Tim out on another adventure in the future

Tiny Tim is a great little camper and supported us well in our first CamperVan adventure. The van has been well maintained and the engine had plenty of pull for those windy scottish roads. Good fuel economy. We did 1100 miles in Scotland over 7 nights. The owners were supportive and informative. The solar power setup is excellent and we were able to have the fridge on all the time and never needed to hook up. We could have been off grid all the time. Being used to a king size bed we found the bed a little small for us both but we wanted to start small and find out what we could cope with. We found The found Quirky camper website / booking process a little faffy with what seemed liked 20+ emails being generated. We we initially entered our driver details but it kept saying that they had failed etc and then we would get another email requesting them. Overall a great experience and a nothern based company as well. Many thanks.
