Solar:
The van has everything you could ever need and more to live totally off-grid.
Two 275W solar panels fitted securely to the roof with three 100Ah leisure batteries.
Victron Pure Sine Wave Inverter (phoenix 12 I 500) and split-charge system
MPPT Solar Charge Controller
Plenty of USB charging points and 240v sockets
All fitted by a qualified electrician
Inside the van is lit by 4 12v LED light strips that have two brightness settings

Water & Gas:
90L water tank
Powered by a 12v pump that feeds the tap in in the kitchen and the outdoor shower (which can both be heated by a gas boiler!)
Nothing better than a hot rinse off after a swim or surf in the english ocean and the huge 90L water tank lasts for ages.
Large gas safety locker that houses a 7kg calor butane bottle that feeds the gas stove and the boiler via copper piping with a safety lever with which you can stop the flow
Above the gas bottle area in the van is a carbon monoxide and smoke alarm (which works perfectly as we set it off cooking a number of times).
Sleek black two burner mirrored glass gas hob and a very cool copper sink which is actually an old French jam-pan
Matte black and gold mixer-tap

Other:
The bed converts to a U-shaped bench seating area with a wooden table that can be used for working / eating etc.
Under the U-shaped bench seats are different storage compartments which are accessible from within the van and from the back doors.
There is sooo much storage space in the van – we have been living in it full time the last few months and have room to spare.
A long compartment down the side of the van easily fits my surfboard and would fit fishing gear etc. it would also fit folded down Brompton bikes if you were looking to house internally, not sure about other brands.
One of the compartments also has a 30 x 45cm steel household safe, that is bolted to the floor of the van!
A small wardrobe with coat hanging rail and mirror which is super handy.
The sides and roof of the van clad with white-washed tongue and groove boarding, that has been treated to stop bleeding and covers the insulation and vapour barrier.
Two Fiamma roof vents with fly screens installed.
The floor is high quality laminate, over ply and Kingspan insulation boards.
The bench seats / king size bed mattress are made from bespoke memory foam and made to fit the bed perfectly.
A 6-draw unit with perspex top for preparing food etc.
Inbuilt Howdens kitchen includes space saving carousel cupboards
Kitchen also has a Klarstein mini fridge with freezer compartment
Wooden storage shelf for books, pot plants etc.

As the photos show this van is beautifully converted, we constantly receive compliments and people checking it out when parked up.
It is extremely liveable and spacious inside which outweighs any concerns you may have purchasing a LWB 100x!
We have spent many days entirely inside the van avoiding the english weather and it is so comfortable.

Also as we are leaving the UK we will be including loads of little additions which mean you can basically get straight in the van and head on your holidays!:
