Citroen Relay L3H2
2.2 Enterprise, diesel. MOT end of August. It drives great, I have had it for 8 months and the only issue I’ve had was with worn CV joints (which I have replaced). I also replaced the battery and sorted any rust in the cargo area. The outside still has remnants of old signs that need a bit of T-Cut to get it looking sharp again. Van is mechanically sound, it just has a few superficial issues to sort out; namely, the wipers linkage needs to be adjusted/replaced (motor is fine), the heater blows cold air, and sometimes the immobilizer can be temperamental. All that came up on the last MOT was to ‘monitor and repair if necessary’ some corrosion, as would be expected with an old van.
I did my research and ensured insulation was done properly. It has sound deadening panels throughout, 25mm PIR board on the ceiling and floor, 50mm PIR board or loft insulation in the walls, and foam in the ribs. I stayed in it through the coldest winter weeks and stayed toasty warm.

2x 12v sockets
2x 12v reading lights
6 x 12v ceiling spotlights (not installed due to ceiling cladding not being up)
Double bed widthways across back of van (Ikea sprung slats on a 2×4 frame)
Framing for cladding partially installed.
I have run out of time to finish the conversion. I hope someone will enjoy taking on the project. Design-wise it is a blank canvas, even the bed layout could be changed if you wished ( I personally love having a permanent double bed I don’t have to faff about with every night and morning!)
Full double bed widthways across the van
