2011 VW Crafter Campervan
Just under 93K miles and with 12 Months MOT having just passed with no advisories. I’ve owned this van for nearly 5 years and it is a very reliable van with genuine low mileage.
The timing belt was done at 50K miles & since I have owned it I have had it regularly serviced by local garages.
The conversion was done by myself and I have been a furniture maker for 20 years (this was my work van pre-pandemic) so I am confident that the conversion has been done well. The main features are:
Eberspacher diesel heater with ducting into the living space and under the bed.
Sprung double bed with a futon company mattress – the side pods allow for the bed to be fixed sideways.
Double swivel seat from R&J campers, fully crash tested.
Bespoke upholstery by Cat upholstery in Bristol who specialises in van conversions.
Dometic drawer fridge
Thetford cassette toilet
Can 2 ring gas burner with 2 lpg tanks stowed under the kitchen in a sealed metal gas locker and vented out through the floor.
Grohe tap with shower extension, a large sink and 100L water tank over the rear wheel arch with a Sureflow pump.
Loads of storage above the cabin, in the kitchen area and under the bench seat .
Avtex T.V with bracket that can be used in the lounge or bedroom areas
Maxair deluxe roof fan with remote control
Faimma F80s wind out awning.
5 x Michelin Agilis crossclimate tyres fitted less that 100 miles ago
Sony double din stereo with rear reversing camera wired to the screen which auto engages when reverse is selected.
Dimmable LED lights – bright in the living area and warm in the bedroom.
Rubber flooring in the living area which is designed for yachts and hardwearing Marmoleum in the garage.
The garage has lights and a 2 bike slide out rack which can be removed if not required.
Black out blind on the side window and thermal window blinds for the cab from eyesopen.
380w solar panel with victron MPPT 100/30 controller (controlled via app) and 2 x 100AH leisure batteries. The solar panels can be isolated with a PV isolator switch.
The van is wired up for 12v only, lights, fridge, heater, water pump, USB & 12v chargers (for TV and amazon firestick). There is a 240V hatch on the van but no 240v is fitted as we didn’t need it.
The underside of the van is clean and I’ve been told by the garage that it’s in very good condition for its age. There was some rust on the bottom of the rear doors and the bottom of the sliding door which I have treated but I am not a bodywork specialist. This is a low mileage, very well converted van with loads of adventures left in it, we just aren’t using it much as we have recently moved to North Devon.
The van is registered as a Motor Caravan on its V5.
