This 2013 Volkwagen T28 Transporter was professionally converted to a Campervan in 2014 by MB Campers. It was bought by the current owner in Feb 2019. It has been well maintained and serviced regularly. latest service was Feb 2026 (VW approved specialist). next MOT due Feb 2027. It has black alloy wheels ((fitted 2021). Newish Goodyear Tyres (x4|) fitted Feb 2024. Cambelt & Water Pump replaced as recommended @ 50k miles. Rear brakes replaced 2021. Alternator pulley & tensioner replaced 2024. Front brakes 2025. Dashboard features include a Pioneer DAB radio with smartphone navigation. Air conditioning to front compartment only. The interior seats are in good condition. There are 4 seatbelts. The front passenger seat is reversible and the rear bench seat folds flat to form a comfortable 3/4 bed . Mains electric hook-up with cable supplied. There are 12v electric sockets available front & rear. There is a fitted twin unit gas hob / sink unit with cold water pump. A fitted Waeco Fridge / Freezer and ample cupboard space. . There is a 1500 W electric heater for winter use fitted under the rear seat. There is a lifting tailgate and sliding rear passenger door. An awning rail is fitted above the latter to allow for a drive away awning (Vango). The vehicle has a single electric tow bar.
The van is officially registered on the V5C as a panel van with windows (as per DVLA decision 2020 citing a lack of permanent external features deemed required for motor caravan status). This description is recognised and accepted for insurance purposes for vehicle use as a campervan / motorhome.
The pop-up roof has fitted roof bars for fitting either a Kari-Tek roof rack or an additional roof box for storage if required. The tent is unblemished and has been recently waterproofed. The elevating sleeping platform has a 120kg weight limit suitable for 2 persons (more for children than adults).
