“Rusty” the 2014 Off Grid VW Crafter Conversion

Lived in for 6 months during a trip around Europe & could go again. The double bed pulls out from underneath the sofa & is big enough to sleep 2 (I’m 6’4” and fit fine). There is a stow-away dining table which can be put up in seconds. The water for the shower & tap can be heated up in minutes using the boiler, controlled by the Truma system, which is also used to control the heating. Plenty of drawers & cupboards for storage, and plenty of worktop space for cooking. Boiler & dual hob are powered by butane campingaz refillable cylinders, stored in gas-safe lockers. The van can go off-grid using the leisure batteries charged by solar panels, or can be hooked up to mains electricity. The fridge has a small ice box.
