We converted “Ducky” ourselves in 2016 from a blank canvas base vehicle when it was just us two and our dog. Now with our two growing children we’ve built a bigger van and are looking to rehome Ducky. Runs like a dream, easy to drive and park, has a lovely turning circle, which helps if you’re new to vanning. Test drives welcome with proof of insurance.
She is fitted with the 2.2 Puma engine, so has the timing chain not belt. Minor mechanical issues in MOT advisories (https://vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk/), minor spots of rust & dents in line with age, well-maintained and loved.
2 keys, 5 speed + cruise control, central locking, full V5 log book, re-registered as campervan in 2016 with DVLA, full service history since 2016, 2 owners since new, alternator changed 2016, last serviced September 2024 (only used for local runs since then), oil changed November 2025 and passed MOT December 2025. Off grid capability with 2 solar panels (about 350W in total), USB chargers, 700w inverter and 115AH lead-acid leisure battery. Electric hookup socket. Air con. Cruise control. Rear parking sensor & reversing camera. Tinted sliding window on each side. 2 x single front swivel seats enabling walk-through to rear. Awning gutter attached. Wind / rain deflectors on front windows.
Wipe-clean vinyl flooring throughout; carpeted walls and ceiling with serious amount of insulation behind (4-season capability).
Living area: 2 belted travel seats with armrest; thermal curtains; low energy LED spotlights; space for porta-loo behind travelling seat.
Kitchen area: 2-ring gas hob; sink; 14L electric cool box; 20L water tank; Camping Gaz bottle housing; wall-mounted tambour storage cupboard above; multiple storage cupboards below; huge storage drawer under main bed (good for dry food storage).
Entertainment: Android head unit with DVD player, sat nav & Bluetooth; flip-down DVD screen in main living area. The head unit is older, but still works as intended.
Large storage area under main bed: electrics; leisure battery; storage shelf; levelling ramps; awning; CabBunk storage.
Awning included: generous porch size (Outdoor Revolution MoveLite XL), useful for wet boots, as a storm porch, optional overnight use of porta-loo etc.
An ideal first van for couple, young family or someone just after a bargain.
Main bed area: Permanent fixed 5’9” double bed across back; cosy box-bed style for maximum warmth and privacy; extremely comfy foam mattress; night-shelf with positionable reading lights; 2 storage cupboards; curtain rail.
Children’s beds (for 2): CabBunk canvas bunk bed (included) erects across front seats when swivelled round to face inwards. Length: c.160cm. Width: c.55cm. Suits up to 8/9 years old (up to 70kg per bunk). Storage pockets. Thermal blackout curtains surrounding bunk bed.
