Amazing 2015 VW Crafter conversion - full bed, shower, storage and large living area

Conversion Story: McV has been handmade by me (the owner James – hi!) with professional conversion company based in the Lake District helping out for the technical or specialist bits. The van is the culmination of 5 years of thinking, planning and far too much instagram browsing. The COVID lockdown was the push I needed to stop day-dreaming and start building – I had even got as far as making a full size cardboard mock-up in summer before taking the plunge! I have loved making and using the van and I am a little bit gutted to be selling it (I am moving overseas with work), but not before one trip for me in Europe…

Vanny McVanface is a fun-loving, Scandinavian chic industrial style camper ready to take you on the trip of a lifetime! With a full-size bed and a pullout sofa bed McV is perfect for small families or for friends. There is social seating for up to 5-6 for drinks and dinner, and an amazing hammock in which you can let the cares of the world fade away or use it as a swing for the kids (or for you!). There is massive storage under the bed, enough space for 3-4 bikes, paddle boards and suitcases. McV also has all the ingredients for you to create a meal to remember, with his very own fitted stainless steel kitchen unit, which comprises 2 gas burner hobs (discreetly hidden underneath a hinged countertop), refrigerator and enough cutlery for 4.
