Vehicle Description

Citroen Berlingo Multispace XTRHD110
1.6L Diesel
First Registered 2011
Milage: 166000
MOT to July 2026 (Some advisories)
New timing belt June 2022
The 1.6L diesel is known for being reliable and good to drive; this has been the case over the time that I have been exploring with Batilda, she is great to drive. When I acquired Batilda I did a lot of work to make sure she was reliable and passed her MOT including (June 2024 onwards) new front and rear brake discs and pads, new rear brake caliper, new front springs, new NS driveshaft, gearbox oil seals and CV gaiters, DPF (filter) removed and cleaned and a new main battery. Later in the year I fitted a new clutch, had the Injectors serviced and, for the last MOT, fitted new lower suspension arms. There is a warning light for the DPF that needs to be reset by a dealer but does not affect the driving in any way. Receipts from previous owners show the timing belt was replaced in 2022. The current MOT is valid until July 2026. Registered Vehicle Type is given as MPV on the V5

Originally advertised in autumn 2025 but not sold. Stored over the winter and ready to go again. I have done a spring service. If the short dated MOT is a concern I am happy to get a new MOT and split the cost. Comes with two sets of wheels. Road tyres fitted on alloy rims and winter tyres fitted on steel rims. New road tyres for the alloys will be needed almost immediately. I am happy to arrange this for an additional cost.

I would rather have her on the road than not being used so I am open to sensible offers.

Conversion Description

Bespoke DIY camper van conversion
Proper mattress 160cm x 80cm
150L main storage space
Food storage
Cooking station
Folding table
Leisure battery and electrics (USB chargers, 230V inverter and LED lighting)
Unique curtains
Plenty of extra storage

This is a DIY conversion that I completed myself using good quality plywood and a pot of varnish. The main floor and sides are insulated and boarded. There is a bed built behind the driver’s seat that has space underneath for 3 x 50L storage boxes (included). The storage is easily accessible from the side or rear. On the passenger side is a storage unit including a pull out shelf with wind shield for a gas burner and a second pull out compartment for food storage. Behind the passenger seat is a fold away table. Next to the table are two battery voltage monitors, USB charging sockets and a 230V socket running from a 500W inverter. The van electrics are powered from a leisure battery which is in turn recharged when the engine is running. There is an LED light fitted in the back. Extra storage is available (I used it for my Yoga matt, camping stool and camera gear). Curtain wires are fitted to all windows and there is a set of handmade and very funky curtains.

Added Extras
Cooker and kitchen equipment
3 x 50L storage boxes and food box
Haynes manual and tool kit
Extra tools (jack, pump etc)
Snow chains
Full set of snow tyres on steel rims, good tread
Level 2 CritAir Certificate (for driving in France)

Beds Description

The bed is a permanent installation, not a fold away bed. There is a proper mattress 160cm x 80cm which is really confortable. I am not particularly tall so this was fine for me, however, the bed could be made longer if required.
