“Blueberry” Vauxhall Vivaro conversion

We are reluctantly selling our beloved camper van, Blueberry, since converting her in 2021 using Quirky Campers excellent guidelines – we have had lots of fun with her and are ready to embark on a new project. She drives like a car and is easy to park but can sleep 2-3 people. Our design includes a fixed double bed with bespoke mattress with waterproof cover and there is room for a third person to sleep on an airbed (legs under fixed bed). She has water, fridge, gas and toilet but for maximum flexibility when camping none of these things are plumbed in so that all of these things can be used inside or outside the van depending on the weather – the van includes storage for washing up facilities, stove, refrigeration and camping toilet of your choice or we can include stove, toilet and 48 hour cool box in the sale for an additional £150): we use a highly insulated fishing bait cool box which when filled with ice and cold food works for 48 hours, tall water bottle with tap in conjunction with a round trug to wash up, a sweet retro camping gaz butane stove and a Thetford Porta Potti 145 which are all really easy to clean and store. The van is hooked up to a leisure battery which is charged from the vehicle battery and is stored discreetly under passenger seat – it powers the diesel heater, ceiling lights and 2 x USB and auxiliary power outlet in the back of the van on a neat panel which also has a display to let you know the battery charge. The diesel heater lives under the driver seat and keeps the van cosy in all weathers and is safe to leave on overnight – you can control it with a remote control from the bed! The interior includes oak wood effect vinyl floor and the walls are a light birch wood effect, the ceiling is white and the van has privacy windows in the back (you can see out but people can’t see in) and fitted Orla Kelly blackout blinds and curtains all round. She also has sun screens for the front windows too for hot days and a removable awning to create shade when back doors are open. There is extra storage under the bed for whatever you need and roof racks on top. Please see recent photos inside and out.
