2.2L Diesel Engine 6 Gear Manual Gearbox
Part Service History – recently serviced.
127700 miles.
1 year MOT
Reversing sensors and reversing camera.
Engine runs well. Very well maintained.
Paintwork is average and there are a few dents here and there on the van all shown on the photos. So you can look on the photos, the offside wheel arch has a dent slightly larger than a £2 coin, there is a dent around 15cm x7cm on the drivers side, about halfway down just behind the divers door, can’t be seen from a distance, and there is a dent around 15x10cm on the left rear door. Paintwork has a few chips and scratches as to be expected with the mileage. The bumpers have some scuffs/scratches. All can be seen in the photos.
Converted myself, I used to build furniture professionally.
Rear lounge layout with 2 opposite facing benches. These are very comfortable and can comfortably fit 4 adults sat round the removable dining table. It’s a comfortable layout as you can lounge with your feet up on the opposite bench or sideways. The dining table also has a tripod leg base so it can be used outside too!
Bed: The benches convert to a full size double bed in seconds. The bed is very comfortable, I sleep better in that bed than my bed at home! It’s a transverse (sleeping across ways in the van) to maximise the rest of the living space and storage!
Kitchen: There is a huge kitchen unit with a Dometic Smev double hob sink unit, a gas locker (with dropout vent) a fresh water tank and ample shelved Storage for food. Top doors on the unit allow quick access to the storage space and to access the hob/sink if it ever needed any maintenance. There is also a cupboard opposite which can be used for plenty more food storage and is made the width of a Waeco fridge so one can easily be added as a later date. There is a tube running under the floor from the electric panels (under the bed) to the kitchen unit incase you ever wanted to add any additional appliances in future. There is a worktop extension on the unit which has proved very useful and a bin too.
Toilet/washroom: There is toilet room with its own separate air vent, and waterproof LED light, and it is PVC lined and with a shower tray which makes it great for drying clothes or wetsuits! And it’s lined ready incase you would like to add a shower at a later date. There is a Thetford bench Cassette toilet. The cassette can easily be taken out via the removable hatch.
Electrics: There are dimmable led lights, and remote control colour changing led strip light under the top storage locker which are useful when cooking and make great ambient lights too. There are adjustable led reading lights great for those relaxing evenings with a good book. There are 2 usb ports in the top storage locker, a 12v cigarette lighter port, and a 240v socket which is on a separate circuit for use when on hookup. There is a leisure battery, and 12v fuse board and there’s a RCD/fuse box for the hookup too and a high quality battery charger which charges the leisure battery when on hookup.
Storage:
There is the huge kitchen unit with shelves for lots of room food and plates, pans etc. There is a plate holder to stop them sliding when you’re on the road. There is a large cupboard with a shelf and a space for large items underneath. There’s a wardrobe above with hanging rail.
There is vast amounts of storage under the rear bench seats. One side has the electrics which only takes up around 1/3 of the space and the other is completely empty for storage. More storage space than we have ever used but great for all your bedding etc. there is a long storage locker on one side of the van which is very useful and the storage space above the cab too. There is an area behind the drivers seat before the toilet room which has been great for storing inflatable kayak so it’s not in the way. I’ve also used it to store a folding bike and it’s where the table and leg are sorted securely. There is a mark/patch on the floor of dried expanding foam from when I was originally converting the van.
There are thermal curtains dividing the cab from the living space and I have the thermal window panels too to keep the van cosy at night. The van is insulated very well including all the walls and cavities, the roof and the floor, and all the doors, and it has a vapour barrier and has been carpet lined.
It has a large window on the sliding door with curtains and 2 opening double glazed windows in the rear with built in thermal blinds and fly screens! There is also a vent in the roof above the main lounge area which lets in even more natural light. The flooring is a commercial grade vinyl flory which is very hard wearing.
The cab has been professionally detailed to bring it to great condition and has fitted leather seat covers, a leather steering wheel and a reversing camera too.
If you have any questions, I’m happy to help, just drop me a message. Will be sad to see this van go, had some lovely holidays in it, selling due to having a baby and needing a family car now!
Great time to buy and make use of the rest of the summer season. With the insulation this is also great for camping in the winter. Priced fairly, to sell, and open to sensible offers.
Full size double bed with sprung bed slats and memory foam mattress.
Converted from 2 opposite facing bench seats. Coverts easily in seconds.
