🚙 Sadly having to say goodbye to the almighty Smurf (aka “Puffo” in Italian), as I prepare to move across the Atlantic ocean.
Tested in the Scottish Highlands winter as well Mediterranean summers, Smurf is a wonderful travel companion, reliable aventure catalyzer, and cozy little home💙
Smurf is a 2010 long wheel base Vauxhall Vivaro diesel campervan, that has driven 132.000 miles.
A former British Gas vehicle, it has been professionally maintained and services. MOT’d and fully serviced in summer ’23, with only a couple of minor advisories.
The much beloved Smurf is fully insulated, had windows and electrics professionally fitted (by Vancon Conversions), and comes with all the following features and extras:
– 110amp Leisure battery linked to 8 LED lights, TV-DVD and double USB socket
– Sink-gas hob all working perfectly, water and waste containers in kitchen
– POWEROAK Portable Power Generator 500Wh
– Bed professionally built with foam mattress from Dreams (genuinely comfier than many beds!) and plenty of storage room underneath it

Small issues to mention:
– One of the back windows broke and was replaced by a black slate of plexiglass, which might need replacing in the near future
– The left side of the back bumper was lightly hit so the back door occasionally touches the “fold” of the bumper when being opened or closed
