Conversion Description

This family campervan has a light, homely feel. We’ve found it to be an ideal size – big without being quite as cumbersome as some of the largest campervan conversions.

BEDS
Main bed: A fold-down double bed frame which stows quickly and securely against the van wall. With a mattress that folds back to be stowed on the permanent section of the double bed at the end of the van, it’s easy to make or put away the main bed, creating a fantastic use of space.
Second bed: Above the end of the main bed, a single bunk bed is positioned horizontally across the back of the van. This is ideal for a child, though it also fits a shorter adult. There are safety bars for the bunk, with the top one being removable for ease of getting in and out.
Additional mattress: An extra single mattress is supplied with the van, which can be used on the van floor as an additional bed if desired.

SEATS
There are five seats, each with a full seatbelt. The two seats in the back were installed brand new, with adjustable arm and head rests, and isofix for connecting child seats. With inbuilt seat belts the two back seats are designed to be folded, unlocked from the floor and easily removed from the van as and when required (though they’re heavy to lift). This gives a large amount of additional space when desired (the double bed can easily be used though without the need to remove the seats).

The double front passenger seat can be swivelled to face the back, providing four seats facing the table. There is a swivel plate for the driver’s seat included with the van, if the buyer wishes to install this as well.

TABLE
The wooden table is hinged in the middle so that it can fold up against the side of the van next to the window. A removable table leg supports it when in use.

KITCHEN
The kitchen area has a fridge, a mosaic tiled backing, and an induction hob that can be used when connected to an electrical hook up. Two portable gas cookers are also included with the van for use off grid. The inbuilt solid wood cupboards have magnetic catches to prevent the doors opening when driving. A large water carrier is included for storing water for drinking and washing up).

ELECTRICS & LIGHTS
The van has 12v electrics and a 240v hook up. There are USB charging points, round (cigarette lighter style) 12v sockets, and conventional plug sockets. There are ceiling lights and additional spotlights (plus a mixed-colour string of battery powered lights). An electric ceiling fan (with electric or manual opening) provides effective ventilation and can be set at different speeds to blow air in or out, or just opened for ventilation.

INSULATION
The van is fully insulated (walls, ceiling, floor), with carpeted walls, a wood panelled ceiling and laminate flooring. Internal thermal screens for the windscreen and cab windows are included, for warmth and privacy at night.

TOILET
A portable toilet is included, which can be stowed in the back of the van.

GENERAL
There are curtains installed on the side and back windows, and a detachable curtain for the sliding door. The windows are privacy glass for ease of seeing out without others looking in.

There is a spacious ‘garage’ area at the back for storage, and this area houses the portable toilet when stowed, leisure battery, battery charger, and electrical trips and fuses. There is a connection ready to go for a solar panel to be fitted if desired.

Having only been converted a few years ago, the conversion is in great condition.

For peace of mind, I was informed by the previous owner who converted the van, that the seats in the back were professionally fitted by a garage and the electrics were finalised and inspected by a qualified electrician.

Beds Description

Fold-down double bed, and a single bunk bed. An additional single floor mattress can be used when the removable back seats are stowed.
